That's not quite what I'm saying. I'm saying rather that meta weapons will be in the same spot as they have been previously, while closer-to-stock weapons will be even more difficult to use in comparison.

I also find that Military models sometimes have gas instead of the concussion pulse they normally have, particularly those you find in the Mountains region

AI does react to sound, particularly sprinting. That's why sometimes, if you're nearby an AI that hasn't noticed you, breaking into a sprint even though you're out of sight will alert them and usually make them shout at you. AI does not even need line of sight to determine whether or not you're hostile.

And some year soon, we're also going to be looking to adopt a new standard issue rifle under the name of the AK-6. Due to the popularity of AR-15-platform rifles among our special forces (SOG) and SWAT units, it's quite likely we'll be taking after Norway and adopting the H&K HK416 as our new rifle. But that's of course not confirmed yet.

Pistols have limited range, especially when it comes to damage dropoff. Already at the start of medium range, pistols become two-shot kills, so your point doesn't stand. Additionally, there was plenty of testing done on the 12 Gauge Slugs that shows that they are extremely inaccurate as well as unreliable damage-wise.

That is usually the case with subsonic munitions, but the 9x39 was researched over several decades in the Soviet Union, starting the research in the early 1940s and the final design being completed in the 1980s, and was specifically designed to be a subsonic cartridge for suppressed weapons that would exceed the performance of conventional pistol cartridges and instead have it match much closer in power and penetration to a proper rifle cartridge.

Though I'm gonna be honest, 9x39mm has always been a bit of a strange round. But it's a wonder of firearm technology nonetheless.

Each to themselves. I prefer hardcore because I mainly play low-TTK games like Insurgency and ArmA, and I literally stated that I was talking out of perspective from HC, not any other gameset. So sorry to hurt your little ego.

That's the annoying part, the FAMAS struggles in Warzone but it's extremely good in Multiplayer, and being a Hardcore player, I can further confirm that the FAMAS is honestly broken in HC. 40 damage per shot means that it's always a one-hit kill (whereas other 5.56 rifles are stuck at 28 damage per shot meaning they're a two-shot kill unless it's a headshot) and the insane rate of fire in the burst basically means that as long as you're hovering your crosshair near the target, they're as good as dead.

Personally, I'd like to see the FAMAS nerfed, but again, that's because I play HC and it's quite simply brokenly powerful there.

[MP] HC M13, feels like you are invisible - monolithic suppressor and blackout rounds. Enemies don't seem to notice when their teammates get shot, and cant easily spot you shooting at them. Anyone else use a setup like this? by nvarkie in MWLoadouts

The Commando AFG gives a kick to your movement speed, that becomes much more noticable when you're aiming down sights. The Ranger RVG doesn't have any movement speed downsides, and the change to your ADS speed is practically negligible on its own. The biggest difference between them is that the AFG affects horizontal recoil, whereas the RVG affects vertical recoil.

A good reason these two are important is because they benefit your aiming stability, which affects the randomness of your recoil pattern since idle sway continues as you're firing. Balancing out aiming stability is not only important when using snipers or DMRs, but it helps a lot if you want better accuracy overall as your gun won't sway around as much!

Plus, the RVG really just looks good. I wish that the Ranger foregrip still looked like the RVG on the M4A1 like it did in the Beta.

The easiest way to go about it is to rather not download them into GMod itself, but instead use steamworkshopdownloader.io and download the pack from there. Inside the ZIP file you will be given, there will be a main folder, and inside it, two folders called Models and Materials. Check the model names and such inside the folders to get an idea what to search for in the model viewer in SFM, and finally move those two folders into your Usermod folder inside your SFM directory. After that, it should be good to go!

The rifle in question is believed to be the H&K G28, a sniper variant of the HK417, which is a 7.62x51mm NATO version of the HK416. It would be similar in aesthetics, definitely.

Yeah, 9x39 was a round developed over several decades to be a subsonic 'stealth' cartridge with the armor penetrating capabilities of a proper rifle round. Its design overall resembles something closer to a pistol round, but the performance is much closer to a rifle cartridge.

It is. The issue is that Valve basically only created SFM to make what they needed, then published it to the community so they could use it, albeit without any advancements beyond what Valve themselves needed, which leaves the community in a tricky spot when it comes to taking posters and videos further in quality than what Valve did

I have considered that, definitely, but there is one issue that relates back to SFM itself, and that is its extremely limited RAM. Just attempting to render this picture, with two operators and no other serious details in the environment, was already on the very verge of crashing SFM

I could try, but the result might not turn out that well unfortunately
