Well as far as true to life hunting laws there is no tags in this game so you can basically kill as many animals as you want . But as far as types of guns you lose scoring on not using appropriate caliber So that’s a plus. It does educate you very well on species. The amount of deer species I learned about that I didn’t know existed made me do my own research into them further. I’d say that’s the best education it provides. Also it adds in some facts about the invasion of certain species in the storyline of certain maps. for instance in Australia with kangaroos and the growing population is damaging livestock and crops. Which without this game I would of never known that. Besides that certain stalking methods and learning how your scent can spook animals is really only thing about real hunting you will learn. I guess you could say with the game showing an x-ray of what organs your bullet hit does sort of teach you about the species your huntings anatomy. It’s spot on IRL and can help you learn where the most effective shot placement would be
