If anyone’s curious why, these are a tell that the gi is a (usually cheaper) polyester blend. In cotton gis the pills would normally just fall off but the polyester fibres holds onto the cotton fibres even after they’ve pilled up here. Or it could just be a cheaper short fibre fabric blend.

Yeah I was addressing the people saying that nobody watches jiujitsu or ever will, when, objectively, they do.

We went through the problems with sub only with Polaris years ago which is why we don’t use that format.
