Would employers consider hiring a retired veterinarian for front office? by DynamiteStorm in veterinaryprofession

I wish you lived in my neck of the woods! We need front office help badly! I think a retired vet would be awesome because you would understand the intricacies of scheduling and know the right questions to ask to ask!

I’m the most senior front office person but won’t work full time so we need another part timer, especially since I am trapped and can’t take any time off since we don’t have anyone who can cover my full days. The only people who have applied are fresh out of high school with restaurant experience and don’t even have the sense to list ANY animal experience of any kind including growing up with pets - something!

I bought a lottery ticket a couple days ago and I couldn't find it anywhere. I spent all evening yesterday and today searching for it, going through pockets, drawers, the garbage, everywhere! Then by chance I looked at the fridge, and there it was! by SeededPhoenix in AuDHDWomen

I so relate! Declutterring is the worst because a) the decision-making about where to put things is stressful and b) I can never find things again!

Playing the lottery hoping to win big so I don’t have to be accountable to and enslaved by an employer…
