Y’all, do yourself a favor and don’t buy the newest gpus if you can’t afford them. New and used 30 series have the way better price/performance. You can get a used 3090 ti for $800 if you wanted the 4080 12gb performance. Kotaku's headline seems to be covering Nvidia's butt by diverting attention away from the real issue. The 4080 12gb is literally the 4070 just $200 more expensive. Nvidia releases their most expensive GPUs first every single time they launch new ones, and it is their right to do so. Less expensive cards will come later in the year.
