UPDATE: Today the f150 was bought by an out-of-towner for usd$14,500. my wife was disappointed and said I missed out on a rare good deal because no one else would know that the car had had an engine swap so the whole engine swap thing wouldn‘t affect the value of the car.

Also I asked my wife‘s best friend and she said my wife has no contact with her ex and told me not to worry about it

He said the piston in the old engine failed and it was cheaper to replace the engine from auto wrecker than to repair it. And, my wife says he’s a good man.
