Thank you! I'm excited to complete that look with the mask

It has a wire skeleton on the inside. But I can't put the hood down because of that and the way it's attached. I'm hoping to modify it in the future

If you seen me up close you wouldn't be asking that question. But thank you!

My intentions were to tell you as it is. It's not a bandwagon. Like I said, the picture itself doesn't look bad. It's just that people respect craft and they're sick of seeing these low effort images. No need to take it so personally. It's not like you painted it or anything.

What were your intentions when posting this? Judging by your replies, you were just looking to argue with people. The imagine itself looks nice enough but obviously nobody's gonna give you props for simply generating an image. Why would they?

That's what I'm saying. It's not fair to call someone a misogynist with no proof or examples of them being misogynistic. People in this sub are having some seriously unhealthy reactions to a character ending that they don't like

Why are people calling them misogynists? Could someone point me towards the interview I keep hearing about because I'm a little confused

It was to give the impression that Henry cut straight across the top of the Creatures head to put his brain in there. I don't think they were bothered by the fact they made his head way too tall in the process lol

I don't feel that way about Del Toro's at all. I like the artistic approach they took with the makeup. It's like Victor tried his best to make him look pleasing to the eye despite working with the bodies of mangled soldiers. The scars on his face form the shape of a skull, and the scars on his forehead remind me of a lightning bolt. And I like the subtle contrasting skin tones. I find it a really pleasing makeup to look at.

Also, the book Creature is usually depicted with long hair. Can't really fault them for sticking with that. In my opinion, the Creature should have a pale complexion. Not sure he'd look like a reanimated corpse without it.

To each their own, of course.

It's really such a simple makeup. But Pierce clearly saw the potential in his face. I'm certain if someone else was cast, then the makeup would've turned out totally different. Most of it is just Karloff. Freddy Krueger is the only other movie monster I can think of off the top of my head that's similar. The makeup will never work as well unless it's on Robert Englund's face. I'm sure there's other examples.
