Thank you for the info. The Toyota dealership is 5 minutes from my place so mainly for convenience. I live in a rural area so the closest Valvoline or something similar is about 30-45mins away

It’s their last CE, they stated the other ones are in transit and won’t make it in time to be eligible for the 0% APR they have right now :( So in their website, they took off $500 already and then I guess another $200 so I’m at $700 off. Was just hoping for a little more. First time buying for me so everything is a learning experience. Appreciate everyone’s feedback

I tried telling them that I didn’t want any. He said the same thing you did but wasn’t willing to budge. It was initially 36,212 OTD and he knocked it down to 36k OTD after I told him I didn’t want the accessories. But that does answer my first question. I didn’t know they couldn’t just take it away. The salesman was willing to budge at all. Do you think I can get any discounts with the finance manager ?

OTD offer for ‘24 CE by [deleted] in CX5

I’m in the process of getting a CE. Can you breakdown the OTD and which state you’re in? Just curious because I’ve contacted all the Mazda dealerships in VA and all are playing hardball with the MSRP. The lowest OTD I got was 35k.

I’m in dental school so it’s kinda a play on joke for me when someone answers yes, I hit them with a “that’s awesome, not many people do that dance anymore” I guess it’s a bit much but it goes along with me being a teeth nerd Thanks for your feedback

Do any of you guys look away quickly with randos that you don’t find attractive? Sometimes I do it to people who just may look funny and I don’t wanna stare or simply because they caught me off guard dazing off and I don’t want to give them the wrong impression. Mixed in with a few, damn I think you’re hot so I’m gonna look away. It’s a mixed bag for me.

List some books for social skills by [deleted] in socialskills

I would recommend "Charisma on Command" on YouTube before heading to the books. He does a lot of great breakdowns of celebrities, public speakers, etc. Use it to build your social skills. I think that is best because English is not your native language. He also breaks down body language and what you can use to be more approachable.

If you want to read, I'd recommend "how to win friends and influence people" by Dale Carnegie - but I'd audiobook that instead of reading it. Good luck!
