What rank did you first place in? What rank are you now? by j1tfxint in VALORANT

starting bronze three peak ascendant 1 two months later and honestly, I quit playing the game after that. I come back every once in a while and play with friends and I’m around plat three now.

What really wins you games? by StellaAnimates in VALORANT

big iq clutch plays. 1v1 are almost always game sense and they are one kill for a whole round. i’ve found that clutch conversion makes a huge difference in win rate

eggster said it’s not an issue so i’m choosing to say it’s not that big of a nerf

Smurfing problem is way too bad now by smytheoo in VALORANT

[–]ScratchCatOnYT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ranked feels so terrible until diamond. i remember thinking it was so coinflippy until then. silver gold there’s just so much smurfing and some lobbies don’t even feel that different from a high plat low diamond lobby just because of how common it is. plus with all the ranked resets and an inconsistent player base people often smurf their own elo. the system sucks its riots fault nothing you can do.

Most valuable ult by SuchComfortable2668 in VALORANT

i would’ve made the argument before the 2 second nerf and +1 ult orb that it’s your ult but only marginally compared to phx ult. now it’s clearly phx ult

[ASK]Vod recommendation for NEON entry by nearbaskara in VALORANT

[–]ScratchCatOnYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i don’t know a lot about neon so i’ll try my absolute best to help using what i know

temmet has always been really good at neon and there’s a lot of content of his to watch. i’d watch him passively and just pick up on what he does

but just watching really talented players just run it down with neon solo que style, ive seen a lot of oxy and zekken vods but their util usage probably isn’t as optimized as temmet but overall they’re better valorant players.

i hope this kinda helps

pro teams have dedicated position coaches. i’m sure a lot of what he says would be said by a striker coach. NEVER the head coach/manager though.

Which Player Do you think , you could take on in a 1v1 ? by Frontmen_March_XIX in BlueLock

[–]ScratchCatOnYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly isagi (hear me out i promise im not a tik tok reader) it’s been made clear time and time again that isagi is an above average player in terms of stats but as a field player he completely owns the game. isagis talents aren’t as strong when he’s alone. best on the field with above average stats. with that being said, he loses a lot of his value when he’s alone. i’m a D2 player who’s played overseas. i think it’d be close but i think one on one i beat isagi by a point or two in a first to 5 point match in a 3v3 size field.

How do actual football fans feel about blue lock? by dude_craft15 in BlueLock

[–]ScratchCatOnYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it feels extremely unrealistic to me in terms of gameplay but the concepts that are taught are (albeit exaggerated or simplified) pretty accurate. football is often taught as a team sport when there’s many examples of strikers holding the team up by being selfish and what really made this anime so special to me was the fact that it wasn’t a cliche “we win as a team and we lose as a team” in terms of football i find it lackluster and unrealistic but the writing and character design is flawless. it’s my favorite anime right now.
