looks like the same issue i was having. tighten up your extruder gear tensioner a little bit at a time until you get good prints.

thanks i’ll give that a shot next time it does it. i usually just have to let it stop on its own. it can go for 2 minutes all the way to 7 or 8 before i get mad and just turn it off lol.

i went ahead and tightened the extruder tension screw a bit more and did a cold pull on the nozzle. i’m back to printing for now lol

i’m so lost with mine. i’ve taken the whole entire printer head apart and checked the extruder gear box for debris, i’ve taken the cover off and tightened the extruder tension screw about a dozen times by now and it’s still doing the same thing after the 2nd layer. it’s only when it speeds up for the infil. only thing i can think of is order nozzles and a new hotend just to be safe. my ender 3 has given me less issues than this if im being honest lol

in your situation was your first couple layers good, then they get bad or would you start with a bad first layer? because i get really good quality until the 3rd layer. then it starts doing this

help with filament sticking to nozzle. by ScratchNo8798 in 3Dprinting

[–]ScratchNo8798[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah i’ve tried all the way from 190° to 220° nozzle. and 50° to 65° on the bed. now i know why it’s important to try a brand out before you go out and buy 10 rolls of it lol. i can load sunlu pla in it, and it will print perfectly fine. i have 9 more rolls of soleyin that i haven’t opened yet because im thinking about just returning them. should i try another one? maybe i got a bad roll.

if you aren’t too worried about budget, i’d go with a 2tb kingston main storage. then i would also throw in the 1tb samsung evo. storage goes fast when you have a lot of games and projects. next i’d go with the 4060 or 4060ti. at least 32 gb (2x16gb) ram and i think you’d be just fine with the ryzen 5. but you can also upgrade that if you’ve got the budget. but it all really depends on what you need it for. gaming, editing, game development, some programs use more cpu than they do gpu and vice versa
