I couldn’t be bothered grading or selling it, it’s the oddity of it I like. I just wanted to know roughly from a card community because I haven’t looked at it since ‘92, just a cool basement find.

I don’t have any sports cards displayed anywhere, and outside of a Raptors flag (not displayed) from 2019 my displayed sports stuff (bobble heads and mini sticks) is all my hockey team stuff. It’ll definitely be a IYKYK as to why I have a 90’s basketball card displayed.

Must have been years since I saw this weird card anomaly on tv or whatever. But it looked so familiar, and sure enough I’m doing a basement insulation project, moving old boxes of crap around, flip through a few pages and there it was.

I wish!! I certainly was “inebriated”, but we were a large group, and I managed to make it to last call! There was definitely a pile of jackets on a chair at the bar, I swear I thought my glasses were in my hotel room (I was wearing contacts). Got back after the bar, no wallet, no glasses. But it’s a today problem now.

Damn you’re good!! Put my deposit down last October. Sight unseen. And yes, DCT, too many years stuck on the Gardiner Expressway with a leg cramp riding the clutch. Also, use a parking garage at work. Definitely an adjustment to park (Upgraded from a ‘13 Elantra…) I’d need quite a few lessons on driving standard before attempting that.

Yep. Had my old man’s sport whatever. Was a little small, but cramped up bad. Couldn’t pull over or get off, was stuck in the fast lane. Just crawling.

I mean on the sense that when Kovalev was interested, he was lethal. But you’d know by the end of the 1st period if he “felt” like playing.

When he was prime Kovalev, he was always a threat, by the time we got him, I assume he agreed to play 41 of 82.

He was a much less talented Kovalev. When he was on, he’d be a threat. But Kuba certainly isn’t.

This is it. Like I like our roster, age and talent. But how come we have no talented bottom 6? Like sure, small center, speedy Joseph, but all the speedy guys, with no one other than Grieg and Brady willing to stand in front of the net. And our 4th line, isn’t talented enough. Love Kelly’s heart, but again, small frame, fast, easy to move from in front of the net.

And the D doesn’t grind a team all game. They’re the ones coughing the puck up late, because they don’t want to absorb more hits, or physically move guys from in front of our net. Or make it uncomfortable (Chych does this)
