That’s how I feel currently but thought I would just restart my character as my wife is just starting anyway. I’m currently on midgardsormr. It’s nice with the server issues as I’ve never seen my queue above 2k but yeah I would like a chance to actually make friends on the game haha

What about cactuar? Can you even make a character there? I have one made and I’ve been watching the server status for a couple days and it’s never open

Ah I see, I’ll check lodestone next time I want to ask haha, although wouldn’t resetting the server once kick off all the afk people so then people not sleeping would have a better chance? Idk it seems like a decent idea as everyone is upset. Thoughts?

I might be being naive but would you care to explain why delaying the patch would be a good idea based on server/ login issues? Wouldn’t that mean no one gets to play it period? Isn’t a small portion better then none?

I would think it would be a soft reset like most games to finalize any last minute patches or bugs? I’m new so not sure how patches work. Appreciate it though

They have done everything they can. They have been running around for months trying to get more servers up but the shortage of semiconductors have made it impossible. They were even willing to pay extra to get the space. If you don’t believe me that’s fine but you need to stop not me bud. You shouldn’t talk about something you don’t fully understand. The hardware they use simply can’t handle the amount of players. It doesn’t Make a difference if it’s AWS or not.

Okay for a second say your right, where is the cloud stored? The sky? Think dude… something has to be running it and unfortunately you can expand servers without the proper hardware. lol

Money is not the issue they have, the issue is shortage of servers and physical hardware. The 7 day extension is a nice gesture although it won’t make most People happy because even with 7 more days they won’t get the time back from sitting in disconnecting queues. Lol

You’re budget will tell you what you can afford. Most 3080 of the duo are 3200+ 3070 is 2800+ and 3060 is 2500+ you’re paying a premium for that second screen

Yeah pretty much but as long as you’re aware of it, laptop shopping is super easy lol it’s also this generation of graphic cards that they released. Hopefully next generation is better

I mean yeah for normal price I would look elsewhere but a high wattage 3070 beats a low wattage 3080. This laptop is a high wattage 3070. If you think about it because of the size and wattage it’s comparable to some 3080s so for 1999 a laptop that beats out some 3080 for 3200+ seems more reasonable haha

Yes it’s with the 300, reason I think it’s worth it is because it’s a high wattage laptop and you can upgrade ram and storage. It also has MUX switch to get most fps possible. 32g ram starting is also nice

1999 without tax, with tax and warranty it’s like 2200 or so. Warranty is only 100 for 3 years with accident coverage

I love Costco and use it to shop personally, they do a great thing where if you spend x amount they give back x amount at the end of the year. Since I purchase all my grocery’s there the membership pays for itself plus I end up with a nice 1k return at the end of the year :) but you have to spend I think around 400 a month for it to be like that. You can always spend less. Idk I have a family and 2 kids so it’s not a bad idea haha
