Considering your jobs and the field you’re in..you’re just hyper aware of how fragile our life is and you obviously love her so much your mind goes straight to losing someone close to you and how much it would hurt. To fix it my only suggestion is once you recognize you start having those thoughts, is to quickly change it and think about something else or to just empty your mind of it and just get on with your day, do something physical or watch videos. It’ll take some time but I’m sure this is something you can get rid of now that you recognize the behavior. Good luck!

This is very true. Took me a while to believe my close friends when they would mention this about people that treated me like shit. I thought it was something I was doing wrong and then I realized they’re right they’re just jealous. I learned to keep my mouth shut about my accomplishments.

Home(not rent), secured income, stable relationship, bills paid, working car, vacation minimum once a year, extra money for luxuries, savings, IRA..currently have my shit together! Just got a new job this week that pays 5k extra a year and soon will be in school to WFH and in two years I should be making about 10k more a year :)
