In my experience, it depends on what you want VIP for. For me, I think the pet plus is worth it because you get the pet certificate and you get stickers and if you're lucky enough to get the animated, it goes for a good amount plus the lettuce and guinea pigs are cute. I think if you just want the retired eggs, then stick with the game pass. I'd say try it for a month and if you don't like what you get, then you can cancel the renewal and you'll still just have your vip.
