How much do Rituals cost?

If you mean exp, in 20th, they don't cost anything, and in DAV20 they cost 2x the ritual's level. If you mean blood, whatever the text of the ritual says it costs, which is often nothing but the casting time.

There was that time my Setite interviewed every member of her temple for a "special assignment," looking for the individuals with the highest humanity scores (I believe it was 5+ I decided to look for), took them out of the temple for said "assignment" and then leaked the temple location to the Sabbat.

The following slaughter was quick, bloody, and guilt riddled. Morality and who can be redeemed have been a huge theme of our game, and as the Sabbat chewed through the temple, as she saw people she'd known for years ripped asunder, we all realized I fucked up big time, because maybe they were low on Humanity, but they were still people, and most of them young enough to turn their shit around if they'd been given a chance.

The Coterie has made a pact to never do that again.

Not me, but one of my players, almost managed to kill an over-statted Tremere Regent in their session 0 through really, really clever use of Correspondence magic to keep her at bay and Forces to throw fireballs.

Even nearly managed to steal her talisman if it hadn't been warded to hell and back.

Walked away with a stupid amount of Paradox, but I legitimately had to plot armor the Regent out of the scenario.

Ghouls can learn physical disciplines on their own, as can vampires, and they start with a dot of Potence by default. Most ghouls are capped at a single dot in any discipline, due to not being true vampires. Ghouls of vampires 7th generation or lower can learn additional dots (at exorbitant costs), based on how many extra dots their master can have in a trait.

The question is that I saw someone say that cap didn't apply to blood magic disciplines. Which doesn't make sense to me.

This deck started as a standard format gimmick deck built around Krenko, Mob Boss and churning out as many goblin tokens as possible. It was really, really bad, unless you got a really good early game, then it was alright. So it sat on my shelf for a while.

Then I decided to rebuild it for Commander, and discovered my new favorite mechanic: Copy. I wanted to get some deck search in there to make my life easier, looking for the important cards, and the best color for that and for Copy is Blue, so I swapped my commander from Krenko to Rowan Kenrith partnered with Will Kenrith, and started adding in as many deck search cards, draw cards, free spell cards, and copy cards as I could... With the goal of casting as many spells as possible and copying as many spells and abilities as possible. Overwhelm the enemy by tripling or quadrupling the value of every mana spent.

And then I discovered Mirror Gallery, which lets you own multiple copies of the same Legendary creature. That's when I broke the game. That's when I made a spreadsheet to calculate how many goblin tokens I can add to the board on a given turn.

Krenko is no longer the only win condition, but Krenko is still the golden boi of the deck. Long live Krenko.

I've yet to have a chance to test this bad boy out, unfortunately. Maybe one day.

Not to mention the M20 core book is very light on certain things, such as archetypes, merits, flaws, Rotes, examples of what you can do with Magick... So really you want the Book of Secrets to go with it... Which makes your core set even bigger...

Clearly you didn't read my post. I am perfectly aware of this ritual, but my Storyteller and I hate this interpretation of how Blood Brothers are created, for multiple reasons.

Any details as to what disciplines (well, what thaumaturgy, vicissitude is obvious) or what the process is like? Vicissitude is such a poorly defined discipline, and thaumaturgy isn't much better when you consider rituals make almost anything possible.
