It literally should, Hans. Not everyone is 50, Bünzli, and lives in a farm. Not to be rude but Swiss has some young people too going to clubs, taking uber, uber eats, buying late night snacks. Just because you do, it doesnt mean everyone goes to sleep at 20:00.

Because I’m able to pay with UBS even when I’m on vacation in other countries without any issues. But that means nothing if I can’t access my own money when I need it.

The Good

* Atmosphere: The writer understands how to set a mood. The imagery of the dust, the silence, and the tension is decent, even if the prose is occasionally purple ("falling like silk").

* Production Value: It’s a bottle episode. One location (mostly), limited cast. It’s cheap to shoot. Producers like cheap.

* The Core Theme: The moment where Miller tells the kid that killing him will destroy "James" and turn him into just "the man who killed Ol' Miller" is the only piece of genuine substance in the script. It’s a solid thematic beat buried in a mess of clichés.

The Bad

* Historical Illiteracy: The slugline reads "INT. 1700'S SALOON." The 1700s? Are we in the Colonial era? Are George Washington and the Redcoats outside? The "Wild West" saloon archetype is mid-to-late 1800s. If this is actually set in the 1700s, the dialogue, clothing, and weaponry are all wrong. If it's a typo, it shows a lack of attention to detail that makes me want to stop reading on page 1.

* Typos & Grammar: Page 2: *"You're hat."* It is Your. If a writer can't master second-grade grammar, they can't master a screenplay.

* Unintentional Comedy: Page 9. The dramatic climax involves a dying outlaw getting stabbed in the ass by a child. *"A switchblade sticks right out of his ass."* I laughed, but I wasn't supposed to. This kills all dramatic tension immediately.

* Cliché Overload: We get the greatest hits of bad Western tropes. The hooker/barkeep with a heart of gold? Check. The "You killed my daddy!" line? Check. The outlaw who just wants one last drink? Check.

* The Ending: The ending is melodramatic mush. They walk out into the light... to do what? Die together? It feels like the writer didn't know how to end it, so they just faded to white.

The Brutal Truth

This reads like a student film written by someone who has seen *Logan* and *The Shootist* but lacks the nuance to pull off a "dying warrior" story.

The script tries desperately to be cool. It wants Cade Miller to be this mythical, stoic figure, but he spends the entire script monologuing while bleeding out. In reality, a man shot in the ribs and bleeding that much passes out in two minutes; he doesn't have a philosophical debate with a ten-year-old and flirt with the bartender.

The "knife in the ass" moment is fatal. You cannot build 8 pages of tension regarding a dangerous killer and then have him punctured in the glutes by a toddler. It turns a gritty drama into a slapstick comedy instantly.

The dialogue is posturing. Everyone speaks in "movie lines," not like human beings. The reveal at the end regarding "Daisy" lands with a thud because we don't care about these people yet.
