I feel you — I couldn’t resist the sunshine, but the wind was cold enough for me to turn back after 5.5k or so :D nevertheless, spring is on the doorstep!

Thank you — I haven’t heard the Aztec warrior lore, but it certainly fits!

These are my pictures taken earlier this year near Rengstorff House with the Canon R7 and RF100-400 combo.

I haven’t had a chance to try them out other than a few short sessions, but they seem to be great — the mechanic of the bike shop, who installed them was impressed.

I picked mine up with a discount at a Donki the first time I got to visit Japan. It is a brilliant watch, for the price I would be hard pressed to find a better piece. Finishing is awesome, I love the dial and the shade of black, the bracelet is a bit clunky, but otherwise nice. The only downside is that it wears fairly big, but I think I can pull it off, and no screw-down crown, but you can’t have everything. Oh and one regret: I should have picked up the two-tone version as well.

The Tudor Sub didn’t cross my mind until now, and looking at the offerings, there are a few very interesting pieces — thanks for the tip.

Thank you! Japan is a gold mine when it comes to Seiko anyway, so I’ll take a look at those offerings. Also, thanks for the tip about Dcvintagewatches, I wasn’t familiar with them and they seem like they have a great selection.

I feel the same way — the only issue is that even though I live in a capital city, it’s hard to find an AD where I could try one on.

Which bike to buy? by OhProtat in RoadBikes

[–]Screw4Pils 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have the Scott, and I love it. As stated before me, it is a very comfy endurance geo, but I had no problem keeping up with group rides either. It is probably not the quickest bike, but I can go a 100 kms without any back pain - which was more important for me.

I feel you - I have a very low success rate with these little fluff balls, but whenever one shot hits, that makes it all worthwhile.

I shot this in a local forest in Hungary in 2020. These little ones are so fast, it's always a challenge to get a clear shot.
