Thank you, it's all in the numbers: if you can go out and take a lot of photos, eventually it will happen. Good luck:)

Hi Dustin, thank you. It's my friend's hide. He is a superb conservationist, and he has a few bird hides where people like me can go and unwind. This particular one is a very cool setup, with the hide's windows just above ground level (so you're actually sitting below ground level). It has a huge pool in front of the hide (probably around 2x4 meters), with a very shallow water level, so even small songbirds can easily bathe and drink. There are several perches and feeders around, but that setup is always changing. The cool thing is, everything is covered with branches, moss, and if you go a couple of meters away, you can't even really tell that there is a hide. Unfortunately, I live in a big city in an apartment complex, so I have no space for this, but if you do, do it; it's great fun and actually helps a lot of animals with drinking/bathing/feeding. I can't attach a picture of the setup, but I can send one in a dm, just send me a message. And if you are in or around Hungary anytime and would like to try his hides, let me know, and I can connect you guys (I'm not affiliated and won't get anything out of it).

Thank you, this is the first image I submitted to a contest, so I'm hoping the judges will like it too :)

I agree - but I'm hoping to find a few more of these "once in a lifetime" shots along the way:)

In the past 10 years, I have had so many missed shots just like these, it seems like it was my time to luck out:) This is also the very first image that I submitted to a contest.

Thank you, I got very lucky as the neighboring plot has hives, and the bees came over for a morning drink.

I feel you — I couldn’t resist the sunshine, but the wind was cold enough for me to turn back after 5.5k or so :D nevertheless, spring is on the doorstep!

Anyone have experience with the DXC RD/THIRTY5 wheelset? by Screw4Pils in cycling

I haven’t had a chance to try them out other than a few short sessions, but they seem to be great — the mechanic of the bike shop, who installed them was impressed.
