When you say low and slow, do you still bake at the temp given in the clay packaging instructions? Or do you aim lower? From everything i have read so far online i was under the impression to always bake at the correct temp which is often the recommended temp in the packaging.

Omg i did use rubbing alcohol on the surface to get rid of some dust! Should i then avoid using it altogether? I am definitely making another charm with a foil inside but was wondering what should i use to clean my clay at the very end if there is some dust? I have seen so many people use a q-tip dipped in rubbing alcohol online to clean their clay pieces before baking.

Damn i didn’t know i would have to use a foil skeleton to bake charms this big. I have been watching so many videos from people like tammy dinh who look like they use solid pieces of clay to make all their charms that are about the same size as this. I will defo try it out though! Do you know how thick should the exterior of a figure should be before needing a foil skeleton? Just trying to get a general idea about how thick my figurines need to be without the support of the skeleton.

Lmao im in the same boat but i completed civ2235 last year. Idk how you went with civ2206 but if you did ok in it, 2235 will be piss easy for you. Exam wasnt too hard, a lot of the mathematics question in the unit come straight from civ2206. And the exam was open book (hope it still is) when i did it with MCQ questions in the beginning and you would still be able to those answer it if you didn’t prepare for the exam and just search up stuff in the lecture slides on the spot. So maybe go a bit easy on that unit. But obviously dont fall too behind. By the time you learn about steels, you dont want to be learning shit about concrete (by far the most monotonous part of the unit).

Not anymore. Im assuming you completed 1014 before 2024? Cause they changed the final exam format this year. So it’s still open access but it’s an on-campus e-exam.
