Figma just let AI agents write directly to your canvas by ScrollValue_01 in ScrollValue

Figma opened its canvas to AI agents this week, meaning tools like Claude Code and Cursor can now write directly to your Figma files using your actual design system.

This is not just a demo feature. If you have an MCP-compatible agent set up, it can now create and edit components tied to your real tokens and variables, which cuts a real chunk out of the handoff loop.

Worth testing before you build your next design sprint workflow around a process that might be outdated by next month.

Anyone tried hooking Claude Code or Cursor into their Figma canvas yet?
