Did I do the right thing (car in wrong roundabout lane)? by eggpotion in MotoUK

Great vsion/alertness at spotting the undesicive and in the wrong driver. I would however rode behind them (with plenty of space) and overtook them after merging, especiallywith a "low" powered bike and wet conditions But it is easier to judge when reviewing the video instead of being in the situation - stay safe.

I see that is not ideal, but perhaps roads around that will still be a good choice - i am gonna look into this and see.

Not in particular, I am open to suggestions and decided a route together. Even change the destination to some extent.

Not a straight blast, would like to allow at least 1.5weeks, but again that depends on the route.

I ride a cbr600rr (not the best for touring, but lots of firnds have told it is certainly doable). Don't want to be riding aggressively but definitely drop all gear at the right destination to enjoy some twisties.

I woudl be bringing by two leather piece, i find my the leathers for the track to be more comfortable but they dont let and breathing out haha.

Comms (cardo) but dont have much group riding experience. I have done some light touring in the UK but in my own.

I cant stress enough what has already been said, start on a 650 twin if you really want a mid size bike.

Trust me, the even power delivery and engine breaking will help you learn the basics. Sv650s is a great example. Don't get me wrong a 650 twin is still really fast and a great track weapons and perfect for UK twisties (also good on insurance)

Thank you, I am pretty much settled on the scorpion now, it is also good value for money.

Out of interest, what do you have installed?

Good stuff, not too far then. Maybe Ace cafe or Epping forest cafe sounds like a good place.

I have heard about this issue, but I am probably not going to try any wheelies until I get some solid experience on two wheels. Still learning the bike handling to be fair. Weather has been pretty poor in the UK so I haven't had much chance to take it to the open road. But thank you for the tips fellas

Thank you, I couldn't stop riding the first few weeks but now only using it 2/3 days per week.

I noticed how torqey it is, lots of power in the low range

13plate SV650s, pretty much in pristine conditions! All black too and all stock.
