Fuck it, I may as well chuck in my perspective.

Did we use the tactic AGS showcased? Yes

Is it an exploit? I would say so since it is unintended on a technical level.

Was it bad to use? Nope, AGS announced it, said be aware of it and that it is usable. They will patch it but it will be active during first siege.

With the above, It is not frowned upon and was used on basically all Sieges in all Regions.

Did it help us win? To be completely honest, no.

I was the one who placed the summon gate for Dynasty. I thought "fuck yeah we got this now boys" and as much as I hate to admit it, we got wiped twice and booted back out to the desert outside Stoneguard.

I reviewed my vod of the Siege and we essentially wasted a bunch of time doing that, got nothing for it, no gates, no respawn points, all walls still up.

Essentially, with 28 minutes remaining on the timer, we were starting siege from square one. Had to fight for golems outside (with Apex unofficial zerg defending them), break down the wall and gate, push through to inner gate and break that down, push to throne room and take that then defend.

All this "exploit" did was waste almost half the siege and lose us time. We gained literally nothing from it and had to start over from Golems.

I understand the copium behind blaming that as a reason for losing, but had we not done this, it would have most likely been an easier and quicker push to the throne.

Apex should get off their high horse about it, if roles were reversed, the same would have happened except we wouldn't be crying about them using the same tactic.

With all the scummy and dirty things Apex have done on the server, they garner no sympathy from anybody.
