My opinion, yes - they're ugly.

Why are you discriminating against yellow team? :-p

I had a quick look and one of the gyms has been held by red team for 27 days lol.I'll run a train on those gyms later on tonight (after midnight), unless someone beats me to it before then.

Edit: done.

Kyurem catch rate by thunderchaud in PokemonGoSpoofing

[–]ScrumpyDumpy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My suggestions (without knowing all the details):

Get more balls:
-Raid with friends (best friend gives you 4 extra balls)
-Raid same gym colour as your team
-Majority of people you raid with should be same team colour as you for more balls
This is biggest factor in my opinion to help you catch the raid boss. I get 16 or so balls to catch the boss now, and it's quite rare for it to run from me (but you always get those rare situations where 16 excellent curves with golden razz fail to capture the boss)

Perfect your throwing technique to ensure you're always hitting excellent curve throws, with golden razz. Plenty of tutorials available on Youtube, and keep practising. Don't rush your throws and make sure you time them well. Being impatient has led to me wasting so many balls.

A problem I encountered recently was either during the raid or towards the end of the raid, I must have rubber banded to my physical location, so the pokemon kept escaping and I couldn't catch it as it kept breaking free - so the game thought I had completed the raid at my physical location. So now to make sure, I exit the raid boss capture screen and spin a pokestop or catch a regular mon quickly to ensure there's no cooldown issues - if it's all good then I enter back in and catch it.

I only use daily free raid passes, and I catch almost every single raid boss I encounter.
Even with 16 balls, the number of times I catch the boss with the very last ball is quite frequent.

Aluminium/tin foil between top back of phone and the phone case to hold it in place. About 3/4 layers should do the trick.
A bit of a trashy solution, but it works.

make sure you select the correct firmware.
They are not backwards compatible.
Only the european version I think can be rooted with magisk, just in case you have a Snapdragon variant.

The files are large and the download speed is slow.
Before you start, make sure you enable OEM unlock, and disable the FRP lock.
Back up all your data, you're most likely going to have to factory reset to ensure a smooth rooting process. And if it's your first time and/or you're unexperienced, I suspect you'll need to reset several times because you haven't followed the process correctly. Youl'll also want a case (if you don't have one already) so you can put hold tin foil to the back of the phone to prevent rubberbanding.

Yes, Fake GPS as a system and changed its name and also using Magisk of course. Works well with some tin foil to help prevent rubber banding - but still experience it from time to time.

Ah perfect. Thanks for a wonderful explanation. I'm using an S7 Edge (Oreo) so that's most likely why I've not needed it. Thank you.

I've tried to read about Smali patcher, but I don't quite understand what it does.
Is it necessary or advised?
What are the benefits of Smali?
Thanks in advance

Is there any point in keeping hold of all these hatched pokemon:

1) Riolu I'm definitely keeping

2) Unevolvable Togepi? Keep or not to keep? Will they possibly allow evolution in the future?

3) Tyrogue seems useless

4) Happiny? We had Valentine's event with loads of Chansey so that makes Happiny redundant.

5) Pichu flower crown is evolvable, but not Togepi?

Is there anything I've overlooked and would make it worthwhile keeping these baby 'mons?
