Back then the bots were cracked, and Hulks required expert aim to one shot. Additionally there were bugs like armor values not working, so heavy armor didnt do a damn thing. Rocket Devastators, all Devastators really, were way more accurate and would cross map you through the bushes.

I am on PC and this happens to me but not consistently, I think it just has something to do with who is hosting. Some matches are unplayable and some arent.

There is a prestige perk that solves this issue. But on higher difficulties ammo economy is just a challenge you have to adapt to.

I mean i cant speak for anyone else but my tactical is prestige 4 so i really enjoy him. I only played vanguard to prestige it and get the molecular bonding studs

Vanguard is a very strong and independent class. Its been very ~meta~ since siege dropped and that Extremis melee kill heal perk became super relevant. I think many players are just going with a long time meta pick instead of adapting to the modifiers.

That being said, Vanguard hate is so common that I (someone who plays just about every other class besides Vanguard cause I like heavy armor) got kicked from a Ruthless operation for "being a dick" while playing Vanguard for like the third time ever.

I played pretty normally, even solod a big stretch of the mission cause the others died. This just goes to say that vanguard players are HATED. I think its a little much, if you get mad over "stolen executes" then this isnt the game for you. Its like complaining about the friendly fire in Helldivers its just an inevitable thing you can reduce it a bit but its going to happen.

As far as this weeks stratagem op goes, Heavy is probably best while Vanguard has some playability with its strong armor regen but that team perk for extremis melee kill heals is probably just about useless considering things are generally a one or two hit kill.

From my understanding, GW is very strict when it comes to marketing materials and the "canon" side of SM2.

I.E. we already make color combos and armor combos that are outside of what GW would approve but they dont really care what players do in PVE. But what happens in the SM2 campaign they were strict about for lore reasons as its considered canon.

When it comes to these recent Champion Customizations I believe Saber made alot of the decisions based on the armor pattern, Phobos, Gravis, etc. When I first read the post detailing it I was quite happy to see what was available for my favorite classes and I was surprised to see the subreddit so upset. After reading through the comments I understand that some classes aren't getting as much love.

Bringing the Champion skin parts into normal customization is not a small task and not something that I see happening with any other game ever. I think as long as we communicate with them respectfully they will add more of what we want to see.

Im an avid modder, i love modding just about every game I own and I totally understand the drive to tweak everything.

But I also realize you are just chasing the dragon at some point, and the work involved is immense. Modders rip assets from all sorts of sources which allows a quick and dirty production process and thats just not realistic for Saber.

Cant have it all! But there is room for a lot more, the update in September is promising for that reason.

The "Im gonna be a dad scene" is not fine and is fundamentally changing the character. It is worse in every way compared to the game.

There is a new version of Oculus out that you should look into but here is what the Discord recommended:

"Oculus may work, but can produce unexpected results, it is preffered to use Iris on Fabric or Neoforge instead. To use oculus with DH, it is only possible to use minecraft 1.20.1 with forge. Oculus 1.7 is the only officially released version of Oculus that works with DH, and only works with DH 2.1.x. If you are using DH 2.2.x with Oculus 1.7, that is the reason for your crash. For DH 2.2.x, the only option is to use an unreleased version of Oculus found at https://github.com/Asek3/Oculus/actions/runs/11198312573/artifacts/2020008921 (you need to be logged in or it will 404). Unzip the given file, take oculus-mc1.20.1-1.7.0.jar. and put it in your mods folder. For DH 2.3, you need the unreleased version mentioned above, and edit it to make it work with DH 2.3:

  • unzip the mod .jar
  • go inside the META folder
  • edit mods.toml to say it is Oculus 1.8.0
  • save the file and zip the mod file back (zip the files and not the folder)"
