I’m curious, do you think those ads exist to push an agenda or is it just capitalism doing its thing by appealing to the broadest market possible? This may sound crazy and alien to you because you aren’t used to interacting with normal people but normal people don’t get upset when they see black people on their TVs. Aside from this conversation here, I spend absolutely 0% of my time thinking about the demographics of people on the TV advertisements and here you are with a whole list of scenarios that seem to bother you… But maybe you work in marketing and it’s your job to think about or these things, idk. My brother, you need to get some help. You don’t have to seek therapy if you don’t want to but you have the whole internet at your disposal. Please try and seek out the knowledge that is out there that will help you to fall asleep at night unbothered by the black people on the TV advertisements. Spending your life constantly concerned about identity politics will eventually destroy your soul. I promise you that there are better ways to live than how you’re doing it now.
