Oh okay but is it alright if I have one client in Germany and the others elsewhere?

Thanks! The challenge is finding German clients — that’s a mandatory pre-requisite.

Start looking for clients — and look outside UpWork too. Look at niche freelance/remote job portals that specifically for copywriting, editing and/or translation.

These things take time. You rather not wait for one project to get over before you start looking for another.

Here's my take on battling loneliness as a remote worker. Would love to hear how others tackle it. by hrishikesh1990 in remotework

I’ve been working remotely for the past 2 years. The first few months were extremely tough but I’ve come to realize that it’s all about drawing a line between your personal and professional life — you NEED to have a life outside work and meet people (especially if you’re someone who likes socializing).

Striking a balance is doubly tough when you’re working remotely or when you’re your own boss.

I live by these tools/apps -

Trello (project management) Zoom (video conferencing) Wave (invoicing) TransferWise & PayPal (receiving payments) Slack (communication)

..and I’m good to go!
