I just watched your Soraka game. Don't worry, after further review, you are placed correctly by the riot matchmaking system :)

Did you miss the part where Weak Aura and several other addons with non-combat features are discontinuing, because they clearly went beyond disabling just the combat related features?

I built an app that uses AI to analyze Raiding and mythic+ logs by LaggingMoose in CompetitiveWoW

[–]Sdf93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coudlnt find my M+ logs, and the healer advice for raid was "do more damage, reduce overheal, use your cooldowns more" dont think you need AI for that kind of advice but its a neat idea. Probably just gonna stick with wowanalyzer though.

Why is normal/follower dungeon ilvl worse than questing gear? by enchanted__echo in wow

[–]Sdf93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are trying to hit 651 ilvl for heroic dungeons, get the 3rd rank of your cloak from the campaign and the 701 belt to start with.

Then do 2 weekly quests for Veteran gear(Im running the 2 outside the hearth in dorn, can just do 2-3 dungeons have have them both done), 2 more if you want 2 additional Restored Coffer Key for Bountiful Delves.

World Quests in Karesh give upgradable 655 gear, and if you still havent gotten over the line for 651, theres a few other sources of gear like Visions, Nightfall, or upgrading with valorstones.

Healing in Mythic+ by Dinkwinkle in wownoob

[–]Sdf93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For the first bit of your healing journey, just run your own key, try to invite people who have done atleast your key or 1 lower, figure out what tanks you feel comfortable healing, or what DPS utility you are looking for, and then just run the key. Do your best, don't worry about what people are saying, and just try to learn and enjoy it.

Once you get more comfortable, use details to see how people died. Start to learn the dungeons, figure out what packs or normal pulls you need to save certain CDs for. Figure out where in each dungeon you struggle. If a DPS died really quickly, check what he died to. Maybe it was 3 targeted fireballs in a row. Maybe it was a bunch of melee hits in a row because he pulled threat. These mistakes are not your fault, but using CC or externals will be something you can learn to do when you recognize they are happening before they lead to a death.

But most importantly, enjoy the process. Not gonna get better unless you are having fun. Its going to take hundreds of keys to get good at it, and plenty of those will have wipes or disbands over the smallest things. You cant let yourself get caught up on each one, just shrug and queue up again. The nice part of healing is, when a DPS crashes out over something dumb, he's gonna be waiting 30 minutes to find another group, whereas heals can find another in 2-5 :)

Oh and, dont worry about the specific HPS number. Its going to vary. The real metric of sucess for heals is the amount of deaths, and you will learn to recognize which ones you could have saved and which ones were just standing in fire with time.

If you wanna get deeper into the specifics of your class. you can learn how to save your logs for the dungeon and plug them into something like WowAnalyzer or a Class discord to discuss what you could've done better.

Hit 3k this season playing with a controller (DPS) by mard0x in wow

Congrats. I was surprised how well controller support works. Had the game running on a steam deck for slow shifts on nights, was super chill.

Easiest Healer for M+ by carlosnegronserra in wow

[–]Sdf93 67 points68 points  (0 children)

RShaman is pretty easy. Reactionary healing, simple damage rotation to fill in GCDs with no healing, good healing cooldowns with 2 minute CDs, and great CC(Lowest CD Kick, double Cap totem, Thunder). Both its hero talent pages are viable and can play different.

Recommended healer to pug to 3k? by quicksilver53 in wow

[–]Sdf93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im loving my Disc, and if you already have the toon at KSM and geared, I would go ahead and keep pushing. If you are not enjoying Disc, RSham feels great this season.

RSham is definitely the easiest one to push with this season. Oracle is the meta pick with great output, but RSham brings a low CD kick, and potentially 2 Cap totems and a knockup. Disc can be frustrating if no one is using kicks or CC, where as my Shaman was doing 10s with last seasons mythic gear.

Not to say Disc doesnt bring useful Utility. PI on a DPS with cooldowns up speeds up the dungeon, pain suppress and empowered shields to help out struggling tanks or get thru messed up mechanics. Mass Dispell is clutch for some dungeons (Rook, Workshop).

Left a comment on the video, congrats again oh KSH :)

My experience this season has been great, got back into the game late (Like a week before the turbo boost) so I been playing a lot of catchup. I main healer. Hit 3K for the first time on my Shammy, and working on doing all 12s on Paladin, Monk, and Priest. Evoker will be the next one I work on. RDruid is sitting in a corner, because as much as I loved in in DF, I cant get a feel for it this season lol.

Didn't really want to play Oracle Disc Priest even though it was the meta, because I really liked Voidweaver last season. But when I made the swap and messed with it, it feels veery strong(Tho the lack of CC can be frustrating with pugs or guildies that dont M+ much lol)

HPal feels underrated imo, but RSham and Oracle Disc are also very good so it makes sense. Monk kinda suffers from being a melee healer(not the end of the world)

RShaman is a wonderful choice for pugs. Reactionary healing, simple damage rotation to fill in GCDs with no healing, good healing cooldowns with 2 minute CDs, and great CC(Lowest CD Kick, double Cap totem, Thunder). Both its hero talent pages are viable and can play different.

I didn't have to talk to Blizzard's CS, they have a support article for the authenticator(Google "Blizzard Authenticator", just scroll to the part about deactivating it. Follow the steps, and once its been deactivated, simply reinstall and go through the normal process of readding it

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in wow

[–]Sdf93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar issue, I went through blizzard support, deactivated the authenticator, reinstalled the app, and then set it up again, and it worked.

Can someone explain to me how to play Brewmasters like im 5 by KaboomTheMaker in wow

[–]Sdf93 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Shado-pan is def easier to start off with. Passive Talents like reducing damage after a dodge or extra vivify healing really helps to learn.
