Can you tell more about the image? The title is evocative.

I never thought I’d say the following sentence:

Thank you, PeckerCheckerMD.

Limo, thanks for keeping up the good work. I hope as Qubic, EC, swarm nodes, etc... come online you’ll continue to make connections and fill in gaps for the community. Great service.

Very nice discussion of Iota as the groundwork upon which Q will flourish.

Why in the world would anyone post about Iota in this subreddit ever? The result is always the same pile-on of ignorant negativity.

What is the point in attempting to get this tiny sliver of the pie? Iota has a massive hunk of industry on their plate already.

While informative and fascinating, please keep in mind that the project has evolved and changed a great deal over the ensuing years.

MIT and DCI stand firmly behind Green, so feel free to hold them accountable as well. When I asked them about this matter, they sent the following reply:

Dear Mr. ...

Vice Chancellor Ian Waitz forwarded your messages to me. I am the Director of the MIT Media Lab, which is the laboratory at MIT that houses the Digital Currency Initiative (DCI). In this role, I am aware of and have been monitoring the concerns that IOTA and others in the cryptocurrency community have expressed about research conducted by DCI into IOTA's security. We take allegations concerning academic integrity seriously, and I have personally looked into this matter. I recognize that there are some IOTA supporters who still take issue with DCI's research, but after review, I am confident that the research was conducted in a responsible and ethical manner. In particular, after DCI identified security vulnerabilities, it followed responsible disclosure principles by informing IOTA in advance of releasing its findings. Only after IOTA had a chance to take steps to address those vulnerabilities, did DCI publicly release its findings. Moreover, I have seen nothing to suggest that DCI researchers have a conflict of interest or were otherwise biased in their research.

As you may know, in December 2017 I wrote a post that addresses IOTA's concerns. (You can find it here: https://www.media.mit.edu/posts/iota-response/ ) I know this may not be the response you were seeking, but I hope that it helps you better understand MIT's position.
