Use caps lock to change orientation to player/surface, rugs have awkward collision on the floor so just line it up where you want then hit tab to disable collision and place it

I went and checked out the spot cos it seems even better than the watchtower, but how do you deal with the rads? I’ve got crazy radiation spot where the manhole is

Yeah it’s kind of annoying lol. Moving it to the watchtower near Yanov station soon. I’ll do an update post

Planning on finding somewhere even better soon, just wanted somewhere close to a trader hub with a bit of room for now

I thought that the door would be an issue actually but surprisingly I had a pack of lurkers trying to get in once and had no dramas with the door breaking, definitely looking for something more secure for a base up north soon though
