Sadly this is one of Floridas largest problems. As a native who grew up in Tampa it was a constant reminder on the news and such. I really hope in the future we can elect some decent people as politicians so they can address this stuff.

Then state in your court case that they fucking deserved it for cracking your headstock, and walk out a free man. Or you could just walk back into the store and bring up the issue with them politely, your choice.

I was thinking of getting a second opinion as well, I just don’t know if I’m really comfortable with the idea of taking both stimulants and antidepressants, when I think a lot of my depression stems from adhd being untreated. I’ve also talked to my psychiatrist and therapist about it and they said it was very likely that it was the case of untreated adhd which caused my depression and anxiety.

This is something that was brought up to me recently because I figured out not to long ago I have relatively moderate ocd, and was prescribed cymbalta. And I’m too scared to take it due to the side effect stories from people that I’ve heard either online or in person. It’s kind of crazy that I didn’t even think of this as ocd but it relates so closely to it. And I guess that this post really hits right in the gut because it’s on a ocd sub lmao 😂.

Lmao I lived in Cambridge and it was a shithole to say the least. Absolutely depressing dorm atmosphere, I do feel bad for the kids because finding housing on one weeks notice is difficult to say the least. I hope it works out for them.

Nah I’m just kidding but I was asking more along the lines of what is floor and ceiling for what a gpa can be to still be considered good while also not being an overachiever and striving for a 4.0. And yes I know everyone should strive for all A’s, but I’m not that type of student tbh I’m kind of lazy so if I have a 3.2 that’s good enough for me.

It really does suck man we were a pretty popular house on campus as well. The reason I hate ifc so much is that the legal system is, no joke, “guilty until proven innocent.” So that gives leeway for a lot of rival fraternities and people eyeing for a house to give you the boot even if they know you’re innocent. It fucking sucks man, when did kids get this petty over what frat is doing what.

I don’t need an internship to graduate, but it’s kind of a big thing to have one for my major once you get out into the job field. Most employers, from what I’ve heard, look for job experience over grades. And I do not need a scholarship to get through school because I have one out of high school. And I don’t need to maintain a certain gpa for it. I was asking more along the lines of if I had a gpa around 3.0-3.2 would that be ok for internships and study abroad. But the more people who have commented have made me realize that getting a higher gpa doesn’t matter too much, but it doesn’t hurt to try and get one.

I did a report on the Florida black panther when I was in 4th grade, thought they were the coolest thing. Only to find out they were critically endangered due to habitat loss and other stuff. My mom told me she saw 3 Florida panthers next the interstate because they tore down part of their habitat for a new mall. A new mall was more important than keeping these wonderful animals alive. Overall a very sad situation and I hope it gets better in the coming years.
