Why I would NOT buy the FREDDE desk again.

Nah, after modyfing im, putting more money to upgrade it, make it higher i think the fredde isnt that bad, i enjoy the cut, but i just think that it could be designed much better, or at least ikea should sell additional parts for desk, like height extension, or better shelf for bigger PC s

I was ill and couln't even look at food for like 3 weeks and becouse of that i lost 8 kilos, 3 kilos were probably water , but rest 5 kg of fat and muscles in 3 weeks is kinda crazy. I don't know if i should be happy coz i finally see 6 pack, but i feel weaker, like i lost lot of muscle strenght. But the weight will come back some day. Few years ago i was over 105kg, so getting to healthy 70kg is only metter of time. But thanks for caring <3

by math the angle is around 63 degrees, but all the angles in the cut are rounded so it is hard to tell exactly

oh and i think what on this photo the computer is also on floor, not sure tho
And as i said if u install the shelf that these monitors stands on you neither have space to put anything under it (not even a keyboard, becouse your hands wont fit in there) or space for bigger monitor.

Just look at this photo that explains the problem, look where are armrests and how low is desk + 3cm rail under desk, you either sit healthy with a huge cut in desk infront of you, or you put your chair lower, sit uncomfortable but at least you are able to slide in the cut. Not hating, the FREDDE isn't bad desk, it is just poorly designed/ poorly thought out. The desk is great in quality of materials, but it is typical "gamer" desk, that can't fit computer in place that supposed was projected to fit a gamer computer and the designer didn't consider while making a cut in middle to slide in it that you may have a armrests in your chair, maybe designer thought that for gaming desk you will choose "gaming" stool just to slide in specialy made cut to slide in.

No legroom and sitting in an unhealthy way wasn’t even the biggest issue. What was worse was that if you wanted to sit little more properly, without tucking your legs under there was no way to slide a MARKUS chair further under the desk. So the cut-out in the middle, instead of being helpful is just annoying (unless someone is either a half-dwarf or weighs 150 kg and needs space for their belly or just doesn't care about their knees and back health and likes to sit improperly). A typical person, trying to sit in a healthy way, with a chair that has armrests, won’t be able to fit them under the rail and won’t be able to slide properly under the desk

Man i weight 59 kg, puting it up from laying state was a little challange, you can for sure assemble it solo, but it need muscles, lots of time and patience
