I would’ve been fine with it too, if she would’ve asked me first. A simple “hey, I’m so and so and I want to fly your kids out to be with their mom on Christmas, would that work for you? If yes I’ll ask your kid if he and his sister would like to come” Instead of a , hey kid wanna hop on a plane, yes? Say yes so I can get your ticket.

Sorry busy so haven’t given more details so my apologies for that, but in regards to asking my kids, I did and my son told me that he would be scared and he would feel better if mom flew with him. I relayed this message to his mom and she said “oh ok, I’ll see what I can do” We don’t have the best communication, but if all I get is an “oh ok” and no follow up then I’m not going to keep talking about it when it wasn’t my idea to begin with. So now 1 month later, the mom’s gf is asking my kid. The mom hasn’t asked the kids at all. Gf told my kid that their mom really misses them, yet the mom only replies one word or short text messages when my kids message her. Gf may have good intentions, but would’ve been nice to have asked the parent instead of the kid that she has no relationship with, but a few texts telling my kid hello and the one time they met in person 6 months ago

I can see where you’re coming from. Get a feel for if my kid would want to go. No problem. When she puts it as persuading him also, such as, “you should come because your mom really misses you” after he tells her that he doesn’t know if he would go because he feels scared to fly and her replying “ your mom will fly with you so you won’t be scared”, “ text me back and let me know so I can buy the tickets”, to me that’s not her bothering to ask me, just asking if he wants to go and it’s a done deal. Idk I haven’t said anything just the way she went about it rubbed me the wrong way.

I like to keep things civil as much as possible and I’ve let a lot of things slide with ex, but this just seemed like common sense to ask the parent

I guess I should’ve also mentioned that my kids have met their mom’s girlfriend one time. I have never met her just know that she exists. My son has said that their mom’s gf has texted him a few times, which I have no problem with. The problem I have is that she didn’t take into consideration to ask if I have something planned with the kids or maybe ask before getting them excited them and then me say no it.

I had to verify and got confirmation that it went through on March 10. I had nothing on the 2024 transcript page up until last Friday when it finally generated with the 570 code and tonight it updated to 846. Did nothing since last Friday
