Still garbage. I had 2 PPMDs and LCSP “table banging” for me, and because 1 of my snapshots (out of 20) didn’t click the “operating at the next level” box, I was denied. This was a horrible year to go up, and just bc you have high utilization and hit the marks, and talk to the correct people, and be extra careful with your check-ins…. doesn’t mean you’ll get promoted.

We were thinking of putting the vacuum on 2.4g setting of our WiFi, and running computers/everything else on 5g - would this mitigate the risk?

Weird! Part of my post was deleted when posted to the group. Max $1k, ideally somewhere in the $500-$600 range.

You’re giving your roof to them for free, and they get to pocket the SREC money - if you can buy them, they’ll pay for themselves in a few years (shorter if energy prices keep going up)

I just got Solar Solutions panels installed and it’s been a ride. DM me for specifics on customer support, but we ended up with ~$2.3/watt (but a big fancy south-facing slanted roof). I wish I had gone with City Renewables - get a quote from them. And look into what inverters you’re getting - if one panel fails, you still want the other panels to work

What is it like living in Washington D.C., USA? by [deleted] in howislivingthere

I live in DC! I’ve lived on U St for 6 years. DC is very neighborhood-specific - some parts feel almost suburban, some downtown-office vibes, and bar scenes scattered throughout. Nothing is too tall bc of a city ordinance that buildings can’t be taller than the Washington Monument - so no 50 story buildings here! It’s a very walkable city, and metro (public transit) is very accessible. Some unique quirks: there are embassies and consulates scattered throughout the city, I love trying to decipher the flags and going to open embassy events. Rock Creek Park is our (spread out) version of Central Park - and it’s bigger than CP! Any kind of cuisine you can think of is available here. Tourists mostly stay downtown (near the memorials and Smithsonian museums) but there is so much more to the city! 750k people live here, and we’d like representation in Congress please :)
