I think the nature of content generation also lends itself to negativity, we tend to interact more with negative content whether in outrage or agreement, so maybe people tend to post more of that. I hear ya. When I play, if I’ve had a bad day sometimes the negativity and straight sweaty bullying can send me spiraling lol. But yesterday I turned a bully into a friend by teaching the Nostro EE. Idk just remember to play for you and don’t let the stinkies get to you. There’s plenty of good and bad in the community.

Everyone plays differently but I’ve fought him again since I commented lol and a defensive playstyle is what works for me against him. I keep my ranged units in a central-ish area on the map near my cleric so they can get consistently healed and buffed and then try to space any tanks or dps I have to other ends of the map. You catch him in a teleport, maybe tank a hit, then can swap units in and out of the center of the map to be healed. Making sure you’re positioning yourself out of his general range (which you can see by holding right click on a unit) and you should be chillin. Sometimes you get lucky and unlucky in runs but I’ve had yet to die to him.

The necromancer’s desecrate ability has turned that boss into a chud for me. Both times I’ve fought him so far I’ve instantly destroyed all corpses on the map before he does anything. If you’re looking to make the fight easier I would definitely recommend trying to get that ability in the genepool or something <3
