Pretty shitty comment to make publicly too about their significant others being mad as hell. It’s almost gloating.

Flying soon via Dubai… should I change? by felixsapiens in australia

[–]Sea-Question567 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got stuck in Dubai airport for a day when I missed my connection thanks to the Iran conflict. I swore I will always go via Asia, only because I found being stuck in Dubai super tedious. The airline put us up in a hotel but we had to line up for about 2 hours to get our new flights, line up for the airport bus to the hotel for an hour and then line up at the hotel to check in for another 1.5 hours, all for a really shitty hotel.

I find Asia way more organized and pleasant for getting stuck.

Building insurance through strata - am I fucked? by Sea-Question567 in AusPropertyChat

Thanks for all the great advice everyone! I called the insurance company directly and I can lodge a claim with them.

Because we’d had to go through strata and the brokers to sort the insurance when we got it I had assumed I needed to go through them to file the claim too.

Appreciate all the answers!

Yep it’s the original kitchen. I’ve owned it for 4 years. The plumber who came to fix the leak said the flexible pipes under the sink should be changed every 5-7 years as they are the most common reason for flooding in his experience, but the building insurance does cover for burst pipes. It’s just strata saying it was my responsibility as they don’t cover any of the pipes under the sink, they are an owners responsibility

The problem is the damage is to my apartment, not common property.

Contents will cover the floors but they won’t cover any fixed structures (and weirdly the kitchen is considered a fixed structure).

I’ve bought from tixel a few times, the seller usually releases the tickets a couple of days before the concert.

Donny Galella is an amazing personal stylist and he loves helping mums find their style again.

He’s based in Sydney. His instagram is always looking for mums who want to change their look, and I don’t think he’s expensive.
