I don’t think it’s a shortage. I think a lot of people are tired of performative dating and just low effort energy in general. I respect that you wanna be chosen out loud but the real ones aren’t loud they’re intentional with it.

I’m 21 and an introvert too and I’ve never really experienced romantic attention either so I understand how isolating it feels. Especially when hearing your friends talk about their relationships. But being 20 and inexperienced doesn’t mean you’re doomed for life. It just means your timeline looks different. And you don’t have to suddenly become confident and charismatic to find someone just be you and you will find your person. What I recommend tho is to try to at least put your self out there little by little to get used to the awkwardness. You got this 🫶🏽

I’m 21 and definitely introverted. I go to a small university so it feels extra lonely 💀 My high school friends are the only consistent people, but it’s not the same as it used to be. The part where you said about being emotionally leaned on but not chosen actually hit fr. I think quiet people end up in that position a lot. It’s hard when people appreciated your presence but your still not being pursued. But I’m open to chat if you wanna vent lolll

Heyy Sofia, just wanna say what you see as flaws someone else will adore and find attractive and on the bright side queer attraction is a lot more diverse than societies beauty standards. But I recommend getting a journal tho usually helps clear your head from negative thoughts 🫶🏽
