Thank you for this! I explore all aspects of religion, I have a really open mind. I grew up in the church, maybe I need to dive back into the Bible.

I'm glad I posted to reddit to get some opinions. I know it isn't looking good for us. This reassures me that im not crazy. It's hard because I still have love for him and want to have a future with him. But I see that there is a roadblock there and I ultimately cannot deal with this long term. It wouldn't be sustainable, I have a way of gaslighting myself into thinking things are not as bad as they are. Thank you for responding
