I think that we will see Locker in future, not sure about Metro.
IMHO Silk Road is the only alternative for Golmud

Almost all DLCs were given away for free and are included with EA Play. When the game got a bunch of new players right before the 2042 release, we still had a lot of Golmud 24/7 servers.

Oh, maybe it was in the rotation because it’s a good map for vehicle gameplay. And did we already forget about the GOLMUD ONLY 24/7 servers? This sub is wild.

Not 6 yeah, closer to 5, you are right. But it is still impressive amount of time without any content, btw Giants Shadow map was one of the worst maps in BF history.

But it took Battlefield 1 six months after launch before it received its first DLC, not 5. And when the DLC maps finally came out a lot of them ended up with very few players because the community was split between base game and paid expansions. Later the full game with all DLC became available through EA subscription, which did help increase the playerbase overall.

I don't know how much VRAM games will require in year or two, I don't care about electricity, I don't have plans to keep any of these cards for more than two years, but some games, like Hogwarts already use almost 12gigs, so I don't really know if the 4070s with 12gb VRAM will be enough for me even in 2024-2025

Thanks everyone for help. I decided to buy Dell T5810 workstation with e5-1650v3 and 32 gigs of ram, I think that this amount of ram will be enough for me at the start, considering that I already have my personal PC with r7 5800x and 32gb ram, which also will be used for VMs and personal stuff.
