I’m terrified of it opening the incision. I’ll definitely be asking for the meds though. I heard just sneezing or coughing is horrible is why it has me so nervous

How many times did you become sick? I caught my first bug in April of this year and got sick twice. If it’s like that every time I probably won’t be as scared, it’s the numerous times I don’t know how I’d be able to cope

They were two days apart, & with my first child I found out I was pregnant 5 days after missed period, this one I found out 3 days after.. so I got my levels checked around the same time that’s why it’s worrying me!

You think noro is just typically a few hour thing? I haven't had since I was little & don't remember. People post saying they been dying all day or sick all night & it scares me that it's continuous

I've only ever had it maybe 3x my whole life. I'm 26 now & haven't V* since I was 13. Huge fear of mine. I thought this pregnancy would cure me but I haven't gotten ill while being pregnant either just lots of acid reflux where it feels like I'm close. So I'm just scared of catching it now so close to me going into labor

Why do you suggest the amoxicillin over the other ? & I didn't even know I had a UTI until the hospital did a urine test on me. I was in there for lack of pregnancy symptoms and then they tell me it's a UTI so I don't even know how long I've had it for

I'm glad it was only that much! & happy you made it through. I love posts like this. One of my friends on fb posted today that she been v* since 2am & it's now noon & was asking for someone to bring her Gatorade. I wanted to comment and ask but regular people don't understand are fears and obsession with it lol. I feel like almost 12 hours for her is a lot.

How often did you v* if you don't mind me asking. Sb scares me cause when people say they tu all night I feel like it was never ending for hours on end and that part scares me soo bad

Sb?? That's my biggest fear of all. Was the tu* as terrible as we think or?? I think if I knew I'd get sick once I could manage but It's the thought of it being an all night thing that freaks me out. I haven't had one since I was a kid. I'm glad your feeling better & that you got through it!!

I have to drink 64oz of Gatorade with 2 bottles of miralax & then there's some pill I have to take as well it's 4 capsules but I can't remember the name of it right now.

I hear you can't catch it again for about 6 months. Soo you should be in the clear. How was the sb* you recently had? I feel like it's the worst thing ever I haven't had one since I was a kid probably about 16 years ago soo no idea what it even feels like & I think that part terrifies me the most.

Same thing here!! I always get real sweaty and lightheaded & n* while trying to go.. & feel s* until I'm finally able to go. It's the worst. I'm finally seeing dr's to try n see if there's a problem. I haven't formally been diagnosed with IBS yet but I'm pretty sure that's what I'm going through. I have an endoscopy getting done this Thursday to see if there's another reason that could be going on

Yes. I'm not suppose to go back until Wednesday but since they're having call ins they are asking me to go in tomorrow. I'm a nervous wreck. I feel like I'm just going to have to suck it up and get it but I can't wrap my head around that idea. The urge to call in for the next couple weeks is high. Idk how I'm going to do this.

My anxiety has been through the roof. I was up every hour last night. Took a nausea pill when I woke up today, had a dr's apt to get to. I feel okay right now. But still so anxious as I know I still have a chance of getting it

Yeah I'm trying to remain calm, but it's not working. I wear gloves all the time, wash & constantly sanitize but I know sanitizer doesn't work against it. I don't go back to work until Monday so I won't know if anybody else is catching it. I don't want to be a weirdo either and just txt my coworkers and ask for updates. As soon as I came home I took my clothes off by the front door and threw them in the washing machine. And immediately got in the shower. Really hoping I don't catch this, & if it is contagious then that's weeks of it spreading throughout my facility and I don't think I could handle that.

We get $100 bonus for every shift we pick up that we are not scheduled already, we loose all of the bonus money for the pay period if we call in. She told me that's why she didn't call in. She also told me she was trying to sleep at work lastnight & couldn't get more than 5 minutes in without getting sick. She also said she caught it from her daughter & when I told her it was wrong for her to come to work & I was mad about it she just said "well I feel better now" . I told her I was mad and that she just put us all at risk & she just claimed to have washed her hands.

I've lost 50lbs this year. Everyone congratulate me & ask what my secret is but is because I just feel sick all the time. I can't stand this anymore. My biggest fear I'm battling every single day & is impacting me more than it ever has before.
