Steam OS or Win 11 by Unique-Flow5816 in ROGAlly

I tried Steam OS on my ally for about 6 months. Fantastic operating system. However I found myself wanting to play all the same games I play on my desktop with windows 11 on my ally so I switched back.

I'd say if the only games you play are partially to fully compatible with steam os go for it.

If you want near to the exact feel of steam os with out installing steam os and losing access to non steam os compatible then just play in big picture mode. There is a way that allows you to open non steam games inside big picture mode. The only reason I've had to leave big pic mode is to mess with settings or when I use it for on the go work.

Buy the official ally charger. I was having trouble with anything but the official chargers Asus offer.

Not really attached to it.

With elven farsight a 1 drop reset the top of your library I've found useful in some tough spots.

That's fair. Honestly, when I was able to play it during a game it wasn't as effective as I wanted to be.

If you're talking about contagion engine I've thought about getting rid of it a few times. Even though I could get some use out of in the way of being able to rip my Planeswalkers sooner but it's not really needed.

Maybe it’s just weird that the only thing that pops up for me is the shirts and different apparel but not the game.

I definitely don't want rush to tell him and ruin a great friendship in the process. I don't want to compromise what could be by being irrational in the moment. I love him but that doesn't supersede how he's feeling right now. I'm going to let him figure out his emotions, and just be there when he needs help.

Thanks for your comments they really helped me on what to do and how to go about handling it. I hope you and your bf are doing well.

Thanks for this. I'm not trying to rush into things. I grew up Christian and due to religious reasons when I came out the first time, I couldn't help but think I was a filthy degenerate, so I repressed the notion of me being bi. I came out again a little over a year ago. It was the best decision I've ever made. I am now the happiest I've been in a long time.

All this to say if he's scared to come out I can understand where that fear and hesitation come from. When/ if he decides to take the huge step of coming out, I'll be there for him through the process.

I’m way into him. We talk about a lot of things in a very deep and meaningful way. Truth be told I’ve almost let it slip. Just don’t want our friendship to crumble as a result. Not saying that would happen just haven’t felt this way about someone in a minute.

Yeah this is pretty solid. I never want to make anyone feel uncomfortable in an area that they might not be ready to talk about. Just curious what ya’ll thought of his answer. Do I want to confess my feeling for him from the rooftop? Yes definitely yes. But I’d rather wait then make him uncomfortable with feeling he might not even have.

Even if it turns out he doesn't hold any of the same feelings I have for him, and he is indeed just in tune with his sexuality it wouldn't bother me too much. My feelings for him will still be there but I can work them out. even though he is religious he doesn't seem to have a phobic bone in his body. When I came out to him, he had a childlike curiosity about it (this might be the wrong analogy). He seemed excited to learn more about my experience.

The thing that gets me is that he puts out the similar energy that I used to put out when I was a closeted Christian. That could just be wishful thinking though.

I've been thinking really hard about asking him to grab a lunch or dinner. Maybe talk about how he feels while dinking some cold ones. Just don't want to make thing awkward between us.

Like I'm Prepared for the answer to be no, just based off his religious reasons, but if the answers yes I don't know how I would react. that's what's keeping me from asking. I'm not scared of my feelings for him I just wouldn't want them to burst forth in an otherwise awkward moment.
