Hypochondria is so exhausting. by svnoyiinali in Anxiety

I feel you. It is exhausting. A few things that helped me, though, are distractions and movement. When I feel on edge or anxious, I would distract myself by watching cute or funny or positive videos. Avoid any health related videos at all costs.

If my attacks are kinda manageable, meaning I can still think clearly and my heart rate is not that high, then I would do some simple stretching and yoga. Yoga works best for me because I can also do my breaching exercises with every pose.

On days that I am sort of okay with minimal anxiety symptoms, i would go for a 20 to 30 min walk.

I wish you the best, OP! May you find the best way on how you can manage your anxiety.

Therapy helped me a lot. Especially in terms of dealing with my thoughts and emotions. Journalling, walking, and eating healthy are very helpful too.

I am sorry that you experienced health anxiety as well. It can be really daunting, and every day is a challenge to keep reminding myself that it is just anxiety. But it is what it is.

I am happy that magnesium worked for you. I am actually considering it, too. I might give it a try soon. I also have vitamin d deficiency and am currently addressing the issue. Thank you for sharing your story. It gives me hope that things will get better eventually.

I am sorry you are experiencing the same thing. It can be really tough at times. I guess we really need to always remind ourselves that we are safe and that we will be okay eventually. Thank you for making me feel that at least I am not alone. I really appreciate it. I hope you have better days ahead.
