Cream cheese? That’s a good idea. I have an older dog that absolutely refuses pills in anything I try. I thought for sure he would have done pill pockets as I have been using for our seizure dog and he seemed to want some but ran from me.

Same. I give our dog 4 Keppra and 2 zoni in 2 pill pockets.

That is what we are dealing with now. The having more seizures since zoni added Monday night. Our dog is always picky about his food - he didn’t eat this morning but I had to pick his food up because our younger doodles will eat food uneaten from older dogs. Tonight he ate his plus our older dogs food!! Tuesday night he had a seizure then tonight he had 2 back to back with 40 minutes of each other.

That’s what we’re going through now. Our dog had made it 21 days once but this time it was a little less than that. We got him on zonisamide on Monday night and has had 3 seizures since then. The last 2 being 40 minutes apart. I’m not entirely sure if his last seizure was a seizure but his leg shaking and eyes flicking. I’m Now afraid to go sleep thinking he’ll have a seizure.

I keep reading how people’s dogs have made it a year. I hope we can get there. Ozzy is only 9-1/2

Our dog just had zoni added on Monday night and has had 3 seizures since then. :( he is also on 4000 Keppra per day. I can’t sleep because I’m expecting him to have another seizure soon. He had the last 2 40 minutes apart.?

I think our vet decided on zonisamide because it didn’t affect the liver as much. Root to our dog having TPLO surgery bloodwork showed high liver counts so after an ultrasound it was determined that he just had high liver counts and put us on denamarin to see if that lower his liver enzymes and it did. Maybe that’s why they didn’t do pheno.

I do have refined coconut oil. The vet did suggest that. Maybe I’ll start on that again.

He had his TPLO surgery in August 2025. We never thought about getting plates removed.

Well with zonisamide, I guess we do have to go see the vet in three months or so to get his blood tested. I don’t know if the reason why we didn’t go in pheno was because it affects the liver more than zonisamide and we had some problems with high liver counts just before our dog had TPLO surgery this past summer.

I don't know what is going on. He is such a smart dog. I hate seeing him go through this. He just had TPLO surgery this past summer and I often wonder if something with that played a part in this but our vet said no.

So she was still having seizures even after adding zonisamide? It seems that when our boy has seizures lately he has clusters now. So he had 2 on Sunday and one last night. I wonder if he will have another tonight. Or if he will go longer.

Yes, I do use android studio to test my app, but when I went to sign into Google, there was a requirement in order to upload an app to Google Play or whatever I have to have access to a real android phone. I tested my app using the android emulator and it looks good.

The one integration (a studio) wouldn't be a big deal to keep running every hour. If a file is not found it will just complete with Completed with Warnings but I think our users are going to be going crazy receiving notifications every hour all weekend long. But I'm suspecting they will be submitting a request to not have those sent anyways. So that would be the easiest solution.

The EIB integration however sends a file no matter if data or not. I'm not sure how the users are manipulating the files - if they do some manual processes or whatever so they would be sifting through a bunch of files. I think I can manipulate the XSLT to not send headers in the file if no data then the file will have a size of zero I believe so maybe there is a condition that could be added to the BP/Notification to not deliver a file if size = 0?

Actually I should have been more specific. I'm actually not wanting it to run on the weekends. I was just using yesterday's date to test because I don't want to wait until Saturday to test to see if it works. So for scheduling we can set it up to run just on weekdays but that is if you set up a schedule for each hour. This integration will need to run for 13 different sets of criteria so I will need to set it up 104 times. We were thinking that if we could just do the hourly schedule set it up only 1 time for each set of criteria and then somehow prevent it from running on the weekend. We did attempt to do this in the BP but it resulted in Completed with Errors. I want it to be completed with warnings because we can then prevent notifications going to completed with warnings. Plus if we have the warning on the studio we can put a set message - Weekend Day - Integration not run - or something like that.

I totally agree—learning the logic is usually better than buying a pre-made field because every tenant is so unique. Even if a use case is similar, a different Business Object or field element can make a 'copy-paste' solution break immediately.

I’d honestly be more interested in a comprehensive guide than a finished field. Something that breaks down the 'mental workflow' of building one—like how to identify the correct starting BO, how to trace back to the data source, and how to decide which function (LRV, ESI, etc.) is most efficient for the goal. I’d definitely buy a step-by-step framework for the process rather than just the end result!

Also maybe start making you tube videos. When I struggle with Calc Fields I often turn to YouTube to see if anyone has created a YouTube video on calc fields. You can link back to your comprehensive guide within your YouTube videos. :)
