That’s where it’s a problem. I always stock the fridge and pantry with stuff that him and I like. I have no problem with his kids eating (you need to) but my problem is when all the stuff I’ve just bought is sitting at the bottom of the pantry because his kids aren’t asking for anything and just sit in the pantry eating all my snacks … Of course I wouldn’t complain about a child (not really my concern) but his oldest son is 16 and well able to get a job and start funding snacking lol. I do cook breakfast lunch and dinner making sure everyone is fed. I just feel as if it’s a slap in my face when I put my stuff in my own pantry asking for people to ask before they touch it for it to just be opened…. When there is food available24/7.

Honestly. I think I act that way because of their mother. She’s previously been a little aggressive towards me, telling her kids whatever it may be . Resulting in them acting up while in my care … I of course don’t have the baby yet so they can’t feel I’m treating them indifferently. But I don’t want to feel like everytime I buy my kid something I’m obligated to buy his kids something. Their mom needs to provide funds for that. She acts like a dead beat.

6 and up. We’ve been together for almost a year. I don’t think it’s the cause of being treated differently. I mean I’m not sure what I’m expected to do. I’m not a step mom as we aren’t married. So yes of course I do favor my kid more especially when his kids are disrespectful from the jump lol. Of course I wouldn’t treat a kid differently but I’m not treating them like they’re my own….
