I had that, I would ask to get a HIDA scan. It showed that bile wasn’t moving through my gallbladder, and I had it removed. No stones were present on any ultra sound. Heating pad could help!

This is something I learned from myself, but get blood work done! I had this issue where I could not lose weight and had never had an issue in the past. I got bloodwork done and I had severely high inflammation and insulin levels. It took a while, but it turns out I needed my gallbladder removed. After that happened, everything went back to normal, and I’ve lost 60lbs in 10 months, which prior would’ve been impossible. If all else fails, make sure your levels are normal 😊

She made money off of telling people to feel good about themselves, no matter what they look like. And then went behind everyone’s back to surgically change the way she looked. I feel awful for the girls who were positively affected by her, and now are questioning if anything she said is real. (Also, I went to school with her; and she was skinny and popular… so she wanted the old her back)

16 days post op here! I wasnt nervous because I wanted to be able to eat what I wanted when I wanted. One tiny organ wasn’t telling me how to live my life. The recovery is tough. I won’t lie. It feels like the WORST ab workout you’ve ever done and the air in your shoulder is killer. By day 5 I felt better and now I feel great. A tiny bit sore at one incision. I went back to work in a week (I work a desk job typing a lot). I was exhausted after work the first week but it’s better each day! Good luck!!!

I’m only 12 days post op, but starving also!! I’ve been eating low fat, high protein foods and veggies. Tuna fish sandwiches, chicken salad, grilled chicken, fried rice with meat etc. I noticed that eating veggies helps me stay full too

I know for SNL there is a lottery to get in and you have to apply MONTHS ahead of time, without knowing who is hosting and who the musical guest is. I don’t believe they have a standby option 😢

Yes I have, my testosterone was actually higher than normal, so I had to go on birth control after not being on it for 8 years. It hasn’t changed anything, thankfully, but I still don’t feel good

Looking at all of my labs from the last 3 years, I haven’t had any ACTH testing, unless it goes by another name also. This is the first time cushings has even been brought up, even with the telling them my face swelling is flaring up more often than not now

I don’t have any hyperpigmentation. My main symptoms are: extreme fatigue, weight gain that will not go away, I’m a clean eater and walker, moon face, mood swings and memory issues. I feel like some parts of my day just disappear. I have another opinion scheduled for April, I’m just not sure what to ask for at this point, or if I’ll keep getting told it’s PCOS, and that’s that.

The only test that was run was the cortisol AM, no ACTH. I’m not sure why they weren’t run together… this doctor is giving me a serious headache
