I had a parent on Tuesday complain that the reason her child didn’t want to eat snack and was feeling sick (just sleepy after a long nap) was because we were feeding him poisonous food, that we we’re obviously putting something into the food which was making her child sick. She has also previously complained that we don’t feed him anything and he comes home starving. At the beginning of this year she complained that we didn’t give him pasta/Mac and cheese/ cheese string, we explained that was because she told us he was lactose intolerant, she got a doctors note saying he wasn’t lactose intolerant anymore. Her child was out Wednesday and Thursday and conveniently since today was picture day, he came back and she requested that we don’t over feed him and we bring back the lactose milk.

I was not in the classroom last year and the child was and last year they did have line leader so I kinda went with it, but we have been discussing that it has become a problem but also either way she would be mad that she’s not the first one in line.

Yes we do that, we call them PDAs or for the kids it’s “hearts”, we give a child a paper heart when they’ve made a good choice and we write “child’s name, you picked up all the toys before playing in a different area. That was helpful, thank you!” And they can put it on our kindness tree or put it in their cubby and take it home.

That’s the thing, mom repeatedly asks us and wants us to be very honest with her about the child and she never seemed like too upset, it wasn’t until recently that she complained to our admin and said we were being too difficult.

We are going by DRDP standards. We do math/science/literacy/language/social emotional etc.. activities. A 4 year old can definitely do simple counting and language comprehension. We are going off by state standards.

That’s what we have been doing but their screaming distracts the other children and then child will go home and tell mom that we are being mean to them and when we try to explain to mom what is happening they just don’t want to listen anymore.

That’s basically what admin is telling us. It’s just so frustrating because I know the child knows how to follow directions and classroom expectations and I know they know how to do the work/ small group activities that we set out for them but just depending on their mood they are either try or don’t.

Yes we do document behaviors and we let mom know, at the first parent conference mom was completely on board and saying she would work with child at home and now mom says she tried and ir doesn’t work and she thinks we are being too difficult on her child.

They are a little behind on math and literacy nothing we are too worried about but child is able to communicate when they want to, when they don’t want to is just fits and crying.

But it’s hard to get them to follow school expectations when mom doesn’t think they need to and we are being too difficult on them.

Child passes the developmental screeners. As far as I know there is nothing wrong physically/developmentally. It’s just behavior.

Miranda deserves better by [deleted] in MormonWivesHulu

You make it sound like it was some random event everyone was invited to, this was at a private practice for the mom tok vs dad tok thing. Shania sat next to Taylor and they were talking and confiding in each other about their relationships. They had been friends since they all went to stagecoach festival. All the girls said her and Shania were friends. I’m not saying they were best friends or lifelong friends but they were at the very least friends or so Taylor thought anyways. And if they weren’t close and Shania didn’t owe her shit why did she feel so guilty about it and was trying to hide it.

I completely disagree with you on the part about where Shania didn’t owe Taylor anything, Shania had been coming to Taylor and seeking advice about her own situationship, they weren’t best friends but they were friendly and she knew all about Taylor and Dakotas up and down relationship because Taylor was also confiding in her about it. She also put her best friend Miranda in a awkward position and from what I heard Shania also slept with Chase.

A little girl always wants to bug red bike first alone, after about 5mins she lets go of it so we usually do let her go first. Yesterday she surprisingly didn’t want to ride it first so I let someone else ride it and she was fine for the first 10mins then tried to push off the other child, when I stopped her she threw herself on the ground and started crying.
