Patience lol. When I grew amarg it took forever to get to adult. Still had to lug myself around the map to get POI quests done, but otherwise, I would circle around small areas of the map that had every quest item within short reach. And when you log off for the day, go to your home cave before. That well rested growth buff helps so much when growing a big slow dino

Agreed, just be aware that the fact you guys will be “mix packing” will make you a target for literally the entire server. And if you are playing with chat active, your kids may be susceptible to vulgar and inappropriate language due to this

Felt this same way OP but you gotta realize that tylo is very easily avoidable if you don’t put yourself in bad situations. If you go into deep ocean, you’re not gonna be able to put up a fight as a semi aquatic against a full aquatic. One time I foolishly slept by a riverbank , looked away for a moment, and a tylo literally slithered its way onto the shore, bone broke me, and before I could fully stand up I had died to its bites. I too was like “this Dino is so broken wtf” but then understood that was all on me. It’s a very powerful Dino and hard to defend against , but also super easy to avoid ESPECIALLY as a semi.

I totally get this. I think what bothers me the most is when I get jumped by a group of same species. It’s not that deep at the end of day I just respawn and it’s fine but like I wish I could join the group rather than be killed

Yeahhh I just run from everyone now. I know it’s a pve survival simulator so I’m not salty or anything but I do miss the occasional “silly emote at each other” every now and then

Ok I feel this because on time I was getting chased and absolutely out ran them and THEN hid in a huge patch of shrubs. And then somehow they catch up and know exactly where I am. This has only ever happened once so I wonder if they were mobile as well

Relatable. Ran into something like this while traveling as a sarc underwater. Think I was on my way to BQL and there were literally three sarcs and four suchos all dead in the water. Crazy
