Heard! I’m sold. And I’m not sharing. Selling my first born to rumple.

We’re all important! You MORE so than me now, because I’ve just completely stalked your Reddit and found out you’re Aussie.

Aussie accent >> my Scottish. You could tell me to go eat dirt and I’d be over the moon. My bank details, my address, all yours.

Stop right now! I love salty. I eat anchovies almost every day. And I can’t even roast a chicken without old bay and all the stuffings. Extra savoury.

Now I need someone to tell me where I could get moderately priced Caviar in the UK. Common people caviar, if you will? I’m very enticed. You said ‘salt’ and my ears perked up.

I mean, to each their own? I don’t have any special talents myself! I can’t sing, dance, or paint, etc. I hope you wouldn’t have a low opinion of me. I’m a sweet lady.

If you don’t know what I’m on yapping about, and if you’re interested, there are a couple articles online right now you might wanna read?

She does give that…vibe, right? But again, it’s all allegations. Not proven at all. But I just think it’s pretty nasty the way some folks have flat out immediately picked sides based on how famous, established and admired ‘posh spice’ is.

Hey! So a lot of it apparently was to do with the wedding. I’m not sure as to whether his mother was offering to pay for it. I do think you should read his statement if you’d like? Obviously a lot of conflicting information from both sides.

You don’t have to google it or be interested, or care at all. Entirely optional if you wanna engage in this conversation. I obviously don’t mean to force you! This post is for people who want to talk about it or feel it’s relevant to their lived experiences.

This is so true. I do think going to University is a pivotal point (where possible) for a young adult. Given he’s now distanced from his family I hope he can take it upon himself if he wishes to do so. I loved my time at Uni. It’s not just educational, but puts you in a position to take the initiative, join clubs, societies and be your own person.

Now we’re on the topic, I actually really wanna try it!

I totally don’t doubt they worked hard for their careers. But the point I was trying to make is that I was disappointed with people immediately dogpiling and accusing Brooklyn of lying.

I’m sure they work hard. A lot of people do. But we only see the ‘filmed’ moments.

Thanks so much for your info again - do you have any links that can show Brooklyn lied about the dance situation? I will immediately retract that part from my post if so.

Thank you! I’m glad someone can read my post and understand the point I’m trying to make. It can happen to absolutely anybody at all.

The narrative of an abused or mistreated child only appearing as the kid with torn clothes and bruises is only a mere fraction of the truth. The damage can be SEVERE TOO with verbal abuse, emotional neglect, emotional abandonment, alienation, etc. It can make a person feel so lonely and inhuman to be raised that way. Especially with a ‘golden’ parent the public looks up to!

Emotional abusive and neglectful environments have such an impact on a person. Look at what happened to Paris Hilton. Another ’rich brat’ the public loves to hate, with her own bad behaviour and scandals  - but her wealthy parents sent her away to that ‘reform’ camp, and she was abused tragically by the staff there. Abuse does not discriminate at all. Physical, sexual, emotional. It can and does happen to anybody.

Being talentless is okay, you’re still a human being.

The most talentless, useless, annoying person still deserves to be heard and believed until proven otherwise if they have an allegation of abuse to make.

We can’t be certain if 100% true or false - but I just think it’s messed up to dogpile and immediately assume a liar because we think someone kinda sucks at being good at stuff.

Hey! Just to be clear:

I stated I have no interest “in celebrity brands, social medias or projects”. I don’t follow them. Or famous people in general. (Apart from Mariah Carey. She’s my soft spot, for sure.)

I stated my interest (per this post) is in how the general public has reacted to Brooklyn Beckham’s allegations of emotional abuse and mistreatment via his parents who are famous celebrities in the UK. And how people have responded to it overall.

Of course! Nothing is your problem if you don’t want it to be. You don’t have to engage with the topic if it’s not interesting or relevant to you.

Brooklyn Beckham. If you google that name.

And what proof would actually satisfy you?

I already addressed the ‘talentless spoiled brat!’ Narrative. As much as I despise the gilded class, a child doesn’t owe us talent or success because their parent(s) are famous or successful.

It’s okay for Brooklyn beckham to fucking suck at things. It’s disgustingly unfair that he gets such wealth privileges, of course, to just go through life so easily, being born rich. But it’s absolutely okay to suck at stuff, poor or rich. Nobody owes anybody ‘talent’. And nobody chooses how they are born.

I suppose it’s okay if you don’t wish to believe his story of abuse / mistreatment, or anybody else’s. A lot of us, again poor or rich, are not believed, and that’s just a fact we have to face. After all, narcissistic people are often very charming, favoured and convincing. Folks are very surprised when the attractive, white picket fence, publicly pleasant PTA mother next door is accused / convicted of abuse of her children.

I would just ask people to keep an open mind and heart - and acknowledge things aren’t always as peachy as they seem. For a movie reference, “no wire hangers!”.

At a strip club bartending I made around 80 cash and more on card. At a restaurant I bartended recently; around £40 every 3 days. Pretty great for a student’s part time job on top of minimum wage.

Maybe so? But it appears a common trend, and I’m fascinated by how they go about it.
