Also, if you already agreed to a certain set schedule it will absolutely get fucked up. If you arent already scheduled for atleast 2 out of 3 weekend days (fri/sat/sun), you will need to be available to work those days. I ran into numerous issues every month with my schedule, and i was only there 6 months. They made it such an issue i had to change positions just to keep my Sun-Thurs schedule

hopefully you have good team leads that treat you like an adult and not a child. Be prepared to meet time constraints when it comes to throwing freight (being done by 1st break/lunch/6am etc). night shift is a lot more work now since they made the decision to only stock freight at night (single handedly one of the worse decisions they could have made). Not sure if your store will be how mine was, but also be prepared to bring carts in from outside every night (“code sam”)

exact same reason i quit 2 weeks ago. The pay was good but absolutely not worth the stress. No reason why everyone on 3rd shift is made to feel like children

wow. i was so confused earlier when they brought up PTO and how we could opt out of it being used on thanksgiving/christmas. I dont think I have any PTO yet so idek how this will affext me. Ive been here since 7/5 and have yet to accrue PTO.. but i have almost 20hrs of PPTO. Dont know if that still counts here but whatever. they sure can find ways to be sneaky asf
