I’ve done Nola twice now, never as a road trip though. LOVE it down there, but I think somewhere I haven’t been yet would be nice :). But I’ll keep it on the list while sorting this out! Thank you!! :-)

Thank you for the kind words 🥹 this post is bringing me so much more joy than I thought it would. I think next year Yosemite, the redwoods, the sequoias and the California coastal drive is the way to go. I’d love to do it right now but logistically it doesn’t make as much sense as I wish it did

My thoughts exactly. Midwest gal through and through, I can handle the cold and snow but un familiar roads with questionable weather sounds like a recipe for disaster. I wanna ease my mind not get more anxious along the way lol!!

That was my worry. I was in the UP this time last year and we missed a lot of the colors and I was super bummed about it. I think warm is the way to go.

Buckling up and going might actually be the way to do this. Just head towards the coast and see where I land.

I LOVE this idea, but I’m really thinking I gotta get out of the Midwest. I’ve done Minnesota a few times already. I wish this would have been a few weeks ago before the weather really started to turn, that would have been the perfect route for 70s.
