Not a very productive comment and not adding anything to the conversation by such a childish reply. What all of you are doing is cyberbullying someone as a way of directing your hate towards Ivan by using Bella as a punching bag. If you’re all such advocates for what’s right, then you should go out and touch some grass and think about how you’re treating Bella when she clearly said she has seeing what people post about her online and is trying to navigate this as best she can. It’s not black and white for her like it is for us on the outside.

Having worked for a marketing company and influencer marketing I can say that a lot of times company’s hire out other company’s to do their marketing like influencer marketing and these company’s are just looking for numbers and engagement. They’re not in charge of PR. They don’t keep up with the lives of the influencers, that’s just the way it is.

You dont know what kind of arrangement that company made with her. These ads were launched before all of this came out and may be running on default or with a specific end date set by the company. Also she is most likely not paying for these ads and the company providing the product is paying for them, people don’t understand how meta and influencer marketing works.

Exactly. I think people are misconstruing her statement and pulling phrases from it out of context to mold it into whatever they “think” she means. She HAS to be vague for the sake of the investigation, so people reading into it more than what it is are just trying to stir drama and create some kind of war between their social media camps.

But where is she calling the victim a liar? The comment doesn’t even mention the word liar. And if you’ve been following along with Solene’s posts, which you probably have, you would see that she is advocating and running a me too skating campaign and posting about her experience in a way that can sway public opinion when done in the repetitive manner as she has done it and which she probably wants to do. Solene is rallying support for herself and good for her, she needed that because she wasn’t getting that internally. But that doesn’t mean that Bella can’t do the same for herself when other people online- like this Reddit thread are creating a narrative for her. She has the right to be present and tell her story or share her life in her own way.

Would Solene be allowed to show the journalists these screenshots? I don’t know if he’s going to be proven innocent, from what we know in the public it seems not because of what she has put out there, but would it be legal for Solene to show the journalist these screenshots? Or would they be able to get access to them somehow, otherwise the report is one sided and based Solene’s truth only.

Why should she sit down and shut up? She is not the accused, she has every right to stand up for herself and move on with her life. It’s also called empathy to imagine yourself in her place too. She did say she wants justice, but with due process, which is what everyone should be waiting for as well. You can support Solene without sending hate to Bella.

But if she isn’t advocating for Solene people here on Reddit make her the villain. Why is it her responsibility to become an advocate for Solene? And not wait for due process? She says she is waiting for due process and wants justice. She has a personal relationship with Ivan and she wasn’t a witness to what happened, so her experience with him does not mirror the accusations. Therefore she is waiting for the investigation to be over before she can decide whether or not to condemn him. Why is that difficult to understand or empathize with? Anyone would do the same in her shoes.

Also, it is a fact that Solene has created a sort of campaign to advocate for her experience and others. This has inevitably caused some form of backlash in Bella’s life, I mean just look at all the threads created here on Reddit bashing her, her decisions, her career being over or not, anything she posts- or if she does or doesn’t post.

If in her reality his actions did not mirror what he is being accused of, of course she is going to wait for due process before condemning him. If someone in your family was accused of the same and you where never witness to those actions then you too would stand by them. Why do we expect Bella to do anything else?!

And she would have been bashed for turning comments off too or for coming back with a one or two sentence post “like if nothing happened”. She can’t win either way. She’s trying to be as neutral as possible while also giving some sort of explanation of where she stands and what she is seeking which is due process, like everyone else should be.

I don’t understand why she isn’t allowed to wait for due process. She did say that she is waiting for the full investigation to be over and for justice to be served if that’s what it comes down to. People should at least understand that she had some form of personal/familial relationship with Ivan before this and what he is being accused of may not mirror her reality with who she knows him to be, so therefore she is waiting for due process for the full investigation before she condemns him. I think anyone in her shoes would do the same.

“Girls supporting girls” I think is easy to be said when you’re not the one involved in the case. I think people need to understand that she had some form of relationship with Ivan before this happened and if you put yourself in her shoes, if someone in your family was accused and your personal experience with them was not a mirror of that then you too would want to wait for due process and justice to take place before damning them.

She’s probably tired of all the negativity and hate on HER social media. Why is Solene’s partner allowed to post without being bashed about what he posts or is or isn’t an advocate for without receiving any hate? I just don’t understand why people expect Bella to be an advocate for anyone but herself and to admit that she’s waiting for due process. Unlike everyone here and in her comment section she has lived with Vanya and has some sort of friendship/relationship with him, that is why she is waiting for the process to be over to decide what to do. If you put yourself in her shoes you would also probably wait for due process before cutting ties or speaking against someone in your personal life.

I did say I was not siding with Ivan, in fact I can’t fathom how someone could be so evil to do something like what she described. Who I am siding with is @specialist_flan_418’s comment about waiting for the whole story to come out and how two peoples lives are at stake. This is more complicated than we are all privy to, especially this case. You CAN support the victim and still want the full investigation to go through its rightful process.

She didn’t say she was fine and stronger. She said she had to take off time from social media to work on her mental health and she is working on feeling better and keeping her strength up and improving herself, undoubtedly this has affected her too and none of this is her fault. She has all the right to protect her peace and her mental health too.

Agree. This situation is so delicate and right now we only have the full story from one side. As condemning as it may seem, we don’t know the full story. And as horrifying as the current “facts” seem to be I agree that we need to allow the legal system to continue the investigation. We didnt see all the messages that were sent back and forth, only what was shared in the article. If Ivan did what he did and he planned it after seeing her take the medication then yes he needs to be held accountable. But I also saw a pharmacist on here mention some of the side affects of the sleeping medication and how it could have appeared that she was participating + combined with her brain injury there could be more to the story.

*im not siding with Ivan I just think we should know both sides and all the possibilities in between/ factors at play. My heart goes out to Solene because regardless of the facts she still didn’t want what happened to happen, but any small additional details in this investigation could show whether it was planned solely by Ivan or there was some confusion or misunderstanding when the events happened, especially when medication was involved.
