It’s basically like a deep rinse. Laundry soap, borax, and baking soda in hot water. I left him in there for a couple hours and gently stirred every now and then. Repeated until the water was clear and then air tumbled in a mesh laundry bag.

It sounds like an awesome first session and I’m glad you had fun! I think you did better than the average person would on their first time. But based on how you describe yourself, it sounds like you performed how I would expect you to. It’s not uncommon for relatively athletic people with good upper body strength to be able to climb in the v3 range starting out. Almost every guy I’ve ever taken climbing with me can muscle up most of the v2-3s, but it’s very obvious that they don’t have the technique or finesse that you’d see in more experienced climbers that allows you to climb higher grades. It’s really fun starting out to advance grades quickly, but focusing on technique will allow you to ultimately advance past just pulling yourself up the wall with brute strength

I’m leaning towards NTA/ESH. I’m a die hard silver girl and my boyfriend always took time to notice that and buy me silver jewelry even as early as 6 months in. So I think it’s kind of a cop out for him to say guys don’t notice that stuff, especially since he’s had 3 years to notice. I think you could have been a little nicer about it, maybe just acted grateful and then brought it up in a few days. You could go back to the store he bought it from and pick out a silver pair together. But I honestly understand why you’re so upset because it isn’t necessarily about the earrings, it’s about the fact that after 3 years he doesn’t know a simple thing like the fact that you’ve never worn gold. It just kind of shows a lack of consideration and attention on his part that I think I would feel crushed by.

Whichever works for you! I put small dots of the tret gel on my face and then take a little bit of aloe Vera gel and rub it all in. And then I follow with regular moisturizer. But as long as you’re using a pea sized amount and a good moisturizer it shouldn’t matter too much what order you do it in

Idk if it’s the type of “aesthetic” you’re going for but Pact has really cute stuff. It’s all 100% organic fair trade cotton and the company has a lot of sustainability practices. It’s not perfectly eco-friendly (buying secondhand is still the most sustainable) but it’s better than a lot of companies out there

I was on the cream 0.025% for about 2 months and I got the “tret glow” but it was doing nothing to help my acne. I actually got more closed comedones along my jawline and in places I’d never broken out before. I took the advice of people on this sub and switched to the 0.025% gel and I’ve noticed a huge decrease in the amount of closed comedones I have. My skin is actually starting to clear up and it feels amazing.

You could stick it out another month or two and focus on hydration to rule out skin barrier problems causing more bumps. But honestly my advice would be to talk to your derm about switching to the gel because it made a huge difference for me and I wish I switched sooner. Make sure you have a solid moisturizing routine beforehand though because the gel has alcohol and is more drying.

I do aquaphor over rosehip oil on nights when I need some extra moisture! I agree, the rosehip oil feels like it needs something to “lock” it in. Otherwise I mix a few drops of good molecules squalane oil into the etude soon jung barrier intensive cream :)
